Base Class: Druid
Druids who belong to the Circle of Automatons have embraces the creations of man, including modern weapons and armor. Rather than isolating themselves from mankind to protect land and beast, these druids work hand-in-hand with mankind. These druids are still devoted to land and beast, but use a combination of magic, technology, and awareness to allow society to thrive without compromising the ecosystem.
By embracing modern technology, these druids have developed the ability to transform their bodies into inorganic constructs with their wild shape. The more powerful druids have even managed partial transformations to reinforce parts of their body with metal and machine. As a result of embracing these concepts, the relationships between druids of this circle and other groves is often strained. Many members of this circle are former adventurers whose companions and travels helped open their minds to technology.
