Base Class: Barbarian
The Path of the Avenger is one of resolute justice. You have dedicated your life to a significant cause, be it revenge, redemption, or some other personal vendetta. Your unbreakable focus on this goal steels your mind to withstand assaults and empowers your body to cut down any obstacles in your way.
Blinding Rage
When you choose this path at level 3, you can let your rage take over to empower your attacks and blur your vision. At the start of your turn while raging, you can choose to give all your melee weapon attacks disadvantage until the end of your turn. If an attack already has disadvantage, it instead takes a -2 penalty to its attack roll. If such an attack hits, the weapon's damage dice take their maximum values.
You can use this feature a number of times equal to the number of times you can rage, as shown in the Rages column of the Barbarian table. You regain all uses after a long rest.
Retribution
Starting at level 3, enemies that defeat your allies draw the focus of your rage. If an enemy reduces an ally to 0 hit points, you can gain advantage on all melee weapon attacks against them for 1 minute or until they deal damage to you. You must be raging to gain this advantage.
Fierce Will
At 6th level, your mind is stronger at resisting effects that distract you from your goals. You gain proficiency in Charisma and Wisdom saving throws if you haven't already. Additionally, you have advantage on Charisma and Wisdom saving throws while raging.
Eleventh Hour
At 10th level, your attacks become more dangerous when you sense the end is near. While raging, if your current hit points are less than or equal to one third of your maximum hit points, all your melee weapon attacks deal an extra 1d12 damage.
Undying Resolve
By level 14, you have come too far in your journey just to die. On your turn, if you are to make a death saving throw, you can instead choose to become stable and gain one point of exhaustion.
When you reach level 18 in this class, you can use this feature to overcome lethal blows. If an attack would instantly kill you, you can instead drop to 0 hit points and gain two points of exhaustion.
Once you use this feature, you can't use it again until you finish a long rest.
