Base Class: Barbarian
Some barbarians seek to be the shield that protects their people from powerful arcanists and the sword that strikes down magical threats. Barbarians of the Path of the Spellbreaker learn how to resist and fight the effects of spells and other magical elements. Spellbreakers often train in arcane institutions alongside sorcerers and wizards to be the balance of their spell-slinging counterparts.
Anti-Arcane Armament
By the time you choose this path at 3rd level, you have learned to resist the effects of spellwork. While raging, you have advantage on saving throws against spells and magical effects. Additionally, if you succeed on a saving throw against a spell or magical effect, while raging, and would normally take half damage, you instead take no damage.
Confounding Combatant
At 3rd level, you've adapted your fighting style to challenge even the most experienced spellcasters. When you damage a creature that is concentrating on a spell, that creature has disadvantage on the saving throw it makes to maintain its concentration. Additionally, when you deal damage to a creature that is concentrating on a spell, that creature takes an additional 1d8 psychic damage per level of spell they were concentrating on.
Brutish Retribution
Beginning at 6th level, when a creature damages you or an allied creature within 30 ft of you, that you can see, with a spell, you can use your reaction to move up to half your movement towards the creature and make one weapon attack. You can use this ability a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus. You regain all expended uses after a Long Rest.
Brawn Over Brains
Beginning at 10th level, when you enter your rage, you can end the effects of one spell that is affecting you. You can also use a bonus action, while raging, to expend an additional use of your Rage Class Feature to end the effects of one spell that is affecting you. This does not effect any other creatures that may also be affected by this spell. When your rage ends, you suffer one level of exhaustion for each time you used this ability during your rage.
Arcane Reflection
Starting at 14th level, when you succeed a saving throw against a spell or magical effect, while raging, that targets only you, you can use your reaction, the spell has no effect on you and instead targets the caster using the slot level, spell save DC, Attack bonus, and Spellcasting Ability of the caster. If it is a concentration spell, the effects of the spell last for 1d4 rounds and then end (no concentration required).
Once you use this feature, you can’t do so again until you finish a long rest, unless you expend a use of your Rage Class Feature.
