Base Class: Monk
Monks of the Way of the Flow are masters of feeling the environment around themselves, and using it to their favor. They learn techniques to react quickly and avoid their opponents, manipulating their ki to protect themselves from harm and deal decisive strikes against their oponents.
Sacrificial Sight
Starting when you choose this tradition at 3rd level, you forgo your sight to improve your perception over the flow of the ki of other beings and objects. You become permanently blind, but you gain 90ft of blindsight and 5ft of truesight.
Also, you have advantage on Wisdom (Perception) Checks that rely on hearing.
Fluid Defense
Starting when you choose this tradition at 3rd level, you learn to avoid attacks just by feeling the flow of your enemy's ki. Every time a creature attacks you, whether it hits you or not, you gain a +1 bonus to your AC until the beginning of your next turn up to a maximum of +3. This feature doesn't affect constructs.
Whenever you use your Patient Defense feat, you can spend your reaction to turn a hit into a miss.
Combat Flow
Starting at 6th level, your strikes grow stronger the tougher your enemie's defenses are. Whenever you attempt an unarmed strike, you gain the following bonuses:
- You deal extra damage equal to half of the creature's armor class.
- You treat immunity as resistance to bludgeoning damage.
- You have advantage against creatures with an AC equal or higher than 18.
Concentrated Strike
At 11th level, you learn how to potentialize your strike against your foes. As part of an Unarmed Strike, you can spend up to 3 ki points to increase the damage by 1d8 per ki point spent.
The damage dice increases to 1d10 at 15th level.
Flow Mastery
At 17th level, you gain the ability to forsee and counter an enemy's attack just by feeling the flow of the surrounding ki. As becoming expert on feeling the flow of ki from your surroundings, you gain the following abilities:
- Complete Control: You gain two reactions instead of one at the beginning of your turns. Those reactions can stack, up to a maximum equal to your wisdom modifier plus one.
- Flow Counter: As part of any of your reactions, you can spend 1 ki point to deal an unarmed strike against any creature within 5ft.
- Friendly Flow: As a reaction to an attack against any friendly creature within 30ft, you can spend 2 ki points to move up to 30ft towards that creature and use your Flurry of Blows against it.
- Ki Flow Focus: As an Action, you can forgo your blindsight for one minute. For the duration, you gain the following bonuses:
- You gain an additional 25ft to your Truesight
- You regain 1d4 ki points.
- You have advantage on your Unarmed Strikes and Save Throws.
- You gain a bonus to your AC equal to half your proficiency modifier (rounded up).
