Base Class: Bard
Bards of the College of the Emberchant harness the dual forces of eloquence and infernal flame, drawing inspiration from the tyrant Kaelor the Emberflame. Having experienced possession by the Efreet lord, these bards have become lingering conduits of commanding presence and searing power. They use their words to stoke the flames within allies, imbue their spells with scorching intensity, and master the art of persuasion through the flickering tongues of fire. The College of the Emberchant embraces the union of arcane mastery and the commanding presence of fire, creating a performance that leaves both allies and enemies in awe of the blazing crescendo that follows their every word and spell.
Arcane Pyrology
Your connection to the flames and arcane energies empowers your understanding of magical forces, and your encounters with Kaelor have infused you with a commanding presence. You also gain the "Produce Flames" cantrip if you don't already know it. This cantrip becomes a manifestation of your connection to the elemental power of fire and your ability to manipulate flames with precision. Your proficiency in controlling flames adds an additional layer to your performances and interactions, allowing you to shape and direct fire with finesse.
Channel Flames
Also at 3rd level, you can use your Bardic Inspiration to stoke the flames within your allies or yourself. When a creature receives your Bardic Inspiration, it gains temporary hit points equal to the roll + your Charisma modifier. Additionally, if the target deals fire damage during the duration of the Bardic Inspiration, the damage is increased by half your Bard level (rounded down).
Incendiary Words:
Starting at 6th level, your words carry the searing intensity of Kaelor's command. When you cast a Bard spell that deals fire damage, you can add your Charisma modifier to the damage roll.
Cunning Orator
At 14th level, you've mastered the art of persuasion and intimidation through the flickering flame of your words. When you make a Charisma (Persuasion) or Charisma (Intimidation) check, you can roll a Bardic Inspiration die and add it to the total.
Infernal Crescendo
Upon reaching 14th level, your performances reach a blazing climax. Once per long rest, when you cast a spell that deals fire damage, you can use your reaction to release a burst of intense heat. Creatures of your choice within 30 feet must make a Dexterity saving throw against your spell save DC or take additional fire damage equal to your Bard level. Additionally, any enemy that fails the save has disadvantage on attacks until the start of your next turn.
