Barbarian
Base Class: Barbarian

Born to fight in the back alleys, arenas and dirt pits of the world, the pit fighter is as tough as they come. Unable to afford weapons in their early career, pit fighters prefer to get close, close enough for fists and bare knuckle damage. A pit fighter may not be as good looking, smart, or flashy as other fighters and barbarians, but let them get hands on you, and your going to regret it.

Hands like an Anvil

Years of fighting without weapons have left your hands hardened and well practiced. You gain proficiency in unarmed attacks and they now do a base 1D6 + str.

Brutal Fighter

Brutal attacks: You have learned two brutal attacks. You can use these brutal attacks to modify an unarmed attack. Each attack must be declared before the attack is rolled. You can only use one brutal attack per attack.

Brutal attacks

Brutal attacks in alphabetical order

Disarming Maneuver

When you make a firearm attack against a creature, you can expend 1 brutal attack point. On a hit, the creature takes damage and must succeed on a STR saving throw (DC {{savedc:str}}) or drop 1 held object or shield

Haymaker

When you make an attack against an enemy, you expend 1 brutal point. On hit, the enemy takes damage and must make a CON saving throw (DC{{savedc:con}}) or be hit so hard they have disadvantage for one round on any attack or spell.

I don't care about my face

1-5: Your rage caused you to misjudge what part of your face you used, causing you to take as much damage as you delt, not halved by rage. You also have disadvantage on all targets for 1 round.

6-10: Your rage was mostly on point. You take half the damage you delt to the opponent, not halved by rage.

11-15: you popped that clown straight in his face, leaving them with disadvantage on their next turn against you. You also take only 1 point of damage.

16-19: Holy hell you have a head like granite, you take NO damage and the target has disadvantage no matter who they attack for 1 round.

20: You are way to good at this. The target takes double damage and is stunned for a round.

Play dirty

You don't lose, even if that means playing dirty. you reach down and grab a handful of dirt and throw it in your opponents eyes, forcing a (DC {{savedc:dex}}) saving throw or be blinded for 1 round.

Say that to my face!

You spend one brutal attack point to gain advantage on intimidation checks for a minute. You also use your str as the modifier for this check instead of charisma.

Sweet spot

You found the perfect angle to come at your opponent. After a successful strike,  you can expend 1 brutal attack point and follow up with a 1D6 + str as a modifier to the strike. This does not cost an action. If called prior to the successful strike and you roll a nat 20, you can double no only the successful strike, but the sweet spot dice as well.

Yeet em!

You fell this opponent is not worth your time. Spending one brutal attack point on a successful attack, you make a contested athletics check. If you are successful, for every over the contested value you are, you can Yeet that clown 5 feet. The target must make a (DC {{savedc:str}}) or be knocked prone. If the target is thrown against a hard surface, such as a wall, stone etc, then they take 1D4 of additional damage.

This will not work on any creature more than one size larger than you.

Pit fighters knuckles

Your hands have become the thing of legends. All unarmed strikes now count as magical attacks.

Violent Rush

You can use your anger to run straight at an opponent. When you reach the opponent you targeted, you roll a D20. 10 and above, you do 1d4+2 damage and knock them prone if they fail a  ({{savedc:str}}) save. On a 9 or lower, you miss and fall prone as you miscalculated where they were.
