A consulting detective is a type of private detective who provides expert consultation and advice to clients on various matters related to crime and investigation. Pioneered by Sherlock Homes a famous detective was known for his exceptional deductive skills and ability to solve complex cases. A consulting detective is hired by individuals, organizations, or law enforcement agencies to help them gather evidence, analyze data, and solve crimes. They often work closely with law enforcement officials and other experts in the field to provide a comprehensive and accurate analysis of the case at hand
Deduction
Consulting Detectives often use their knowledge to deduce the solution to a problem. Which helps them investigate. This means that you gain advantage on intelligence (Investigation) and intelligence (History).
Agility
You can do complex acrobatics without doing an ability check. You cannot use this to climb smooth surfaces that are higher than 30 feet. You cannot use this to climb ceilings, either.
Supreme Sneak
Starting at 9th level, you have advantage on a Dexterity (Stealth) check if you move no more than half your speed on the same turn.
Use Magic Device
By 13th level, you have learned enough about the workings of magic that you can improvise the use of items even when they are not intended for you. You ignore all class, race, and level requirements on the use of magic items.
Detective’s Reflexes
When you reach 17th level, you have become adept at laying ambushes and quickly escaping danger. You can take two turns during the first round of any combat. You take your first turn at your normal initiative and your second turn at your initiative minus 10. You can’t use this feature when you are surprised.
