Base Class: Druid
You have witnessed the value of life as a druid, but you know that natural balance must be kept. Therefore, you have decided to stray from the traditional path of a Druid and embrace the past souls of fallen beasts By reanimating the wandering souls of past beasts, you control the forces of life and death itself. However, this power comes at a cost. After embracing the wandering souls, you lost communion with the traditional way of nature and with it the ability to wild shape. By controlling these newfound powers and balancing the costs that come with it, you have the ability to bring back the best in nature while not worshiping it.
Soul Merge
You have begun to communicate with the wandering souls, and they decided to grant you access to their powers at a cost. You do not gain the ability to wild shape but instead gain wild shape charges as normal. However, you may now expend a wild shape charge to activate one of the following Soul Merges:
Soul of the Panther: You grow a transparent tail and panther claws. You gain 10ft movement speed and no longer trigger attacks of opportunity.
Soul of the Spider: Transparent legs sprout from your sides. Your damaging druid spells now have an additional webbing effect. If the target fails a dex save equal to your spell save DC, they become ensnared in the web, reducing their movement speed to 0 until the start of your next turn.
Soul of the Hawk: You gain a transparent pair of wings. You no longer take fall damage and may move over difficult terrain unimpeded. You can cast the spell Levitate on yourself at will. The spell may persist after your Soul Merge ends if you maintain its concentration.
Soul of the Snake: Transparent fangs grow from your canine teeth. Your damaging druid spells now poison whoever they hit. If the target fails a con save equal to your spell save DC, then they become poisoned and take 1d6 poison damage at the start of each of their turns. At the end of each of their turns, they may repeat the saving throw to end the effect early. Otherwise, the effect ends when your Soul Merge ends.
Activating a Soul Merge takes a bonus action and lasts 1 minute. Only one of these Soul Merges may be active at a time. After activating a Soul Merge, you may use a bonus action to change to a different Soul Merge without expending a wild shape charge.

Soul Remnant
You have advanced your bond with the wandering souls to the extent that they will now follow you into your world. You gain the ability to summon a ghostly remnant of an animal of your choosing by casting a 1 hour ritual. The chosen creature can be from the known wild shape list at a corresponding druid level. The remnant has half of its normal listed HP. During combat, the remnant takes its turn immediately after yours. While your remnant is within 100 feet of you, you can communicate with it telepathically and it follows your orders. Additionally, if you are within 100 feet of the remnant, as an action, you can see through the remnant’s eyes and hear what it hears until the start of your next turn, gaining the benefits of any special senses that the remnant has. During this time, you are deaf and blind with regard to your own senses. You can dismiss your soul remnant as an action by touching its head.
Improved Soul Remnant
The wandering souls gain increased trust in you and further delve into your world. You are now able to summon a second soul remnant. The two soul remnants must be of different types. Additionally, as an action, you are able to sacrifice one of the soul remnants to refill the health of the other.
Perfected Soul Merge
Through your time with the wandering souls, you have gained their full trust. The wandering souls have decided to grant you additional power through their souls. Whenever you activate a Soul Merge, you gain the effects of all Soul Merges. (At which all the corresponding transparent animal parts appear).
