Base Class: Sorcerer
Many sorcerer’s have their magic manifest in a common form for the world, that being of ancestry, luck, disciplined experience or otherwise, but some manifest through odd or uncommon means. The Mystic Weaponist’s magic manifests in the material weapons they hold, the power they draw vents through the weapons for battle, most sorcerers stray afar and fire from a distance, the Mystic Weaponist prefers to be up-close and personal.

Mystical Arms
At 1st-level, your origin links you to steel, both figuratively, and literally. You gain proficiency in light armor, medium armor, and martial weapons. A weapon you have proficiency in can be used as your magic focus.
Enchanted Arms
At 1st-level, you origin gives you the ability to infuse your magical essence into your weapons for combat. You can spend a spell slot to “enchant” a weapon of your choice, giving it the following effects for one minute:
• The weapon is considered magical for the means of overcoming non-magical resistance.
• The weapon’s damage type changes to a choice of fire, cold, lightning or acid.
• The weapon gains additional damage equal to the level of the spell slot spent according to the “Enchanted Arms table”.

Magical Arms
At 6th-level, when you make an attack with a weapon enchanted by the effect of “Enchanted Arms”, you can cast any spell with a range of touch as a part of that attack, but you cannot upcast it. If the spell requires a roll to hit, you can treat the weapon attack itself as that roll.
Magical Plating
At 14th-level, you gain the ability to cast Mage Armor once per short rest without expending a spell slot, and may cast it additionally with spell slots beyond that. Whenever you cast Mage Armor, you select a damage type, for the duration of that Mage Armor, you gain resistance to that type of damage.
Ascended Weaponist
At 18th-level, you do not spend spell-slots when casting a spell with the effect of “Magical Arms”. You also change to any damage type when enchanting a weapon with the effect of “Enchanted Arms”.
