Wizard
Base Class: Wizard

Over the years of study and travel, a Wizard may never excel in a particular magical school due to laziness, inattentiveness, or just by choice. Some Wizards in this vein become “masters” of copying more dignified and focused spellcasters. These Wizards try their best to fit in by emulating things they see, being addicted to their notes and learning how to magically enchant their pages to expedite this process.

Spell Seize

When you see a spell cast, you can use your reaction to use a piece of Magical Parchment to copy that spell. Your highest spell-slot must be equal to or higher level than the spell’s original spell-slot level to copy it.

When used in this way, you gain one free use of the spell copied by the Magical Parchment and the ability to cast the spell using your available spell slots until the Magical Parchment dissipates.

The spell cannot be copied into a spellbook nor can it be transcribed by normal means or by using another piece of Magical Parchment. When the parchment dissipates so does the copied spell.
