Scroll Caster

When you select this arcane tradition you gain a scroll for two spells of your choice currently in your spellbook. From this point onwards you cannot learn spells by copying them into your spellbook, instead, you collect spell scrolls and cast from these consuming spell slots instead of the spell scrolls.

Scroll Casting

At 2nd level, you gain the ability to use spell slots when casting from a spell scroll.

When you cast a spell from a spell scroll for which you have an available spell slot, you can choose to consume that spell slot instead of consuming the spell scroll, casting a spell scroll in this way has the following differences from normal scroll casting:

• You consume material components listed in the spell description.
• Use your wizard spell saving throw DC and attack bonus for this spell.
• Apply any upscaling if the spell slot consumed was of a higher level than the level of the spell scroll.

Scroll Collector

At 2nd level, you no longer have any use for your spellbook, instead choose two spells from your list of known spells and gain a spell scroll for each of them.

Each time you gain a level in the wizard class, instead of learning two wizard spells, you can gain one spell scroll of any wizard spell for which you have spell slots (including cantrips).

You can use any spell scroll you hold as a spellcasting focus for that spell.

Scroll Recovery

At 6th level when a spell scroll you own is lost or destroyed (not sold or consumed), you can perform a ritual to recover that spell scroll.

The ritual takes one hour per level of the spell scroll recovered. At the end of the ritual, the original spell scroll is destroyed.

Second Scroll

At 10th level when you [Tooltip Not Found] from a spell scroll that takes one action, you can cast an additional spell that takes one action from a different spell scroll as part of the same action.

Scroll Speaker

At 14th level, you can cast from a spell scroll even when the spell does not appear on the wizard's spell list.
