Base Class: Artificer

Bombers relish in the art of chaos, the symphony of explosions and the warmth of a destructive fireball. These artificers create to destroy, making explosive devices that can destroy their enemies in battle or boost their allies. The art of the explosion is one that these people are masters at.

Tool Proficiency

At 3rd level, you gain proficiency with alchemist's supplies. If you already have this proficiency, you gain proficiency with another artisan's tool of your choice.

Eldritch Explosives

At 3rd level, during a long rest, using your alchemists tools, you an create an amount of explosives equal to twice your intelligence modifier. These bombs have the thrown property with a range of 20/60. The explosives damage type are decided once you make them and can be any combination of; Acid, Lightning, Fire, Poison or Cold damage. Once you throw the bombs as an action or bonus action, they will explode in a 15ft radius, everyone in the radius has to make a Dexterity saving throw or take 1d10 damage or half as much on a successful save. 

The bomb damage increases to 2d10 at 5th level, 3d10 at 9th and 4d10 at 15th.

Extra Attack

You can attack twice rather than once, when you take the Attack action on your turn.

Supportive Devices

When you create your explosives, you can replace an amount of explosive equal to half your proficiency bonus with a special device, you can only have one of each device. These boost your allies in battle instead of destroying your enemies. You can choose from-

-Smoke Grenade - All allies in a 30ft radius are heavily obscured in a thick mist.

-Elixer Sprinkler - All allies in a 30ft radius heals for 2d6 + your intelligence modifier

-Gravity Scrambler - All allies within 30ft gain a flying speed of 10ft for 10 minutes. (15th level Prerequisite)

- Time Warper - All allies in a 30ft radius increase their walking speed by 10ft for 10 minutes (15th level Prerequisite)

Master of Explosions

You can now replace an amount of bombs created equal to one third your proficiency (rounded up) an imbue it with an effect of one damaging or healing 1st or 2nd level spell, keeping the amount of damage or healing of the spell, you can also choose the damage type of the spell. All other effects such as range and radius of the bombs are kept the same.

You can now create an amount of bombs equal to 3 times your Intelligence modifier and now your bombs can deal; Force, Radiant, Psychic, Thunder or Necrotic damage.  

Bomber Spells

You always have certain spells prepared after you reach particular levels in this class, as shown in the Bomber Spells Table. These spells count as artificer spells for you, but don't count against the number of artificer spells you can prepare.

Bomber Spells (Artificer level)

3rd- magic missile, thunderwave

5th- cloud of daggers, shatter

9th- fireball, lightning bolt

13- wall of fire, ice storm

17th- cloudkill, cone of cold
