Clerics of the Afterlife Domain are intermediaries between the living and the afterlife, blessed with divine powers to guide, protect, and restore souls.They serve deities who govern the realms of life,death, and the ethereal, such as Kelemvor, The Raven Queen, or Osiris. These clerics are adept at sensing the presence of souls, creating protective barriers, and forging deep connections with those they aid. Their powers grant them unique insights into the soul's journey and the ability to shepherd souls toward their destined paths

Afterlife Domain Spells

Clerics of the Afterlife Domain learn additional spells at certain levels, which count as cleric spells and don't count against the number of spells prepared

1st: Sleep, Identify

3rd: Enlarge/Reduce, Mirror Image

5th: Haste, 

7th: Greater Invisibility, Phantasmal Killer

9th: Dominate Person, Reincarnate

At 1st level, establish a soul link with a creature within 30 feet as a bonus action, granting them a bonus 1d4 on an ability check, attack roll, or saving throw, once per turn. The link breaks if the target moves more than 30 feet away from you, or if you are incapacitated, or end the link as a bonus action

Afterlife Knowledge

Gain expertise in Insight and Religion skills, reflecting your deep understanding of the soul and the afterlife

Channel Divinity: Aegis of Souls

At 2nd level, use Channel Divinity to create a protective aura, granting allies within 30 feet a bonus to AC equal to your Wisdom modifier for 1 minute

Eternal Watcher

Starting at 6th level, if a soul linked creature would drop to 0 hit points as a result of taking damage, the target instead drops to 1 hit point and the soul link ends and can't be reestablished until the creature finishes a long rest

Soul Network

At 8th level, your soul link can now be established with multiple allies within 30 feet, up to your wisdom modifier

As an action, linked allies gain advantage on attack rolls, saving throws, and ability checks for 1 minute. You can't use this feature again until you finish a short rest

Soul Guardian

At 17th level, radiate a haeling aura to you and your soul-linked allies, healing each for 2d8 + your Cleric level. Usable once per long rest
