Base Class: Bard
College of Serenades blends the art of music with the art of creation, imbuing tokens of affection with magical inspiration and healing power. Their melodies and crafted gifts nurture the bonds of friendship and love, offering both protection and recovery to allies in the midst of battle.
Bonus Proficiencies
At 3rd level, upon joining the College of Serenades, you gain proficiency with Potter's Tools and the Performance skill if you don't already have it. You use these to craft delicate tokens of affection.
Blossoming Inspiration
At 3rd level, you learn the channel your Bardic Inspiration into tangible symbols of affection, such as roses or thematic tokens, crafted with your Potter's Tools. When you grant Bardic Inspiration, instead of a musical or verbal component, you give a flower or small crafted item to a creature. While holding this token, the creature gains advantage on saving throws against being Charmed or Frightened.
After holding the token for 3 turns in combat, it blossoms, granting 2 Bardic Inspiration rolls when used. Your token loses its buff after use. The magic fades but the token is forever.
Serenade of Healing
At 3rd level, when an ally within 30 feet of you uses one of your bardic inspirations, you can use your reaction to perform or serenade or utter words of affirmation, healing one ally within 30 feet holding one of your tokens for 1d6 + your Charisma modifier. You can use this feature a number of times equal to your Charisma modifier (minimum of once), and you regain all uses after a long rest.
Harmonious Recovery
At 6th level, your healing spells become more potent for those holding your tokens of inspiration. When you cast a spell to heal an ally who is holding one of your tokens, that spell heals for the maximum amount. Once you use this feature, you must take a short rest to use it again.
Eternal Blossom
At 14th level, the bond you forge through your tokens of inspiration become lasting marks of your magical affection. The effects of your Blossoming Inspiration tokens become permanent and blossom outside of combat.
Once per long rest, you can perform a grand act of serenading, invoking your deepest magic to heal any ally holding one of your tokens within 60 feet, restoring hit points equal to twice your bard level.
