Base Class: Barbarian
The core of a merchant is to sell their wares. Bartering, trading, and haggling are all things a merchant must do. With this, you can also use gold to power your strikes, or even use gold to enhance your rage. All in all, this class needs you to fight for that gold, and avoid being a scrooge!
Cashing In!
At 3rd level, when you expend one rage, you may also expend a predetermined amount of gold as well during the bonus action. These values are 25, 50, and 100, which grants benefits during your rage depending on the amount.
- 25 gold. Your rage damage bonus increases by 1.
- 50 gold. Your rage damage bonus increases by 2, and you gain +1 AC for the duration of your rage.
- 100 gold. Your rage damage bonus increases by 2, you gain +2 AC for the duration of your rage, and you may make 1 special unarmed attack as a bonus action for your rage duration. This special bonus attack deals /roll2d6/roll damage instead of the basic attack.
