Sorcerer
Base Class: Sorcerer

You seem to be a normal creature, except you can talk to the dead and animate them. You might trace your lineage to a curse from an elder lich or any strong undead from who you inherited those abilities.

Undead Curse

At 1st level, you manage to extract some of the undead traits of your bloodline. You are considered an undead, despite your looks, and you can understand and speak with any undead regardless of language. You also have advantage on any roll involving Charisma and undeads.

Undead Inheritage

As the cursed magic flows through your body, it causes some of the traits of your cursed ancestor to emerge. You gain resistance to necrotic damage. Any time a creature within 20ft of you would take necrotic damage, you can use your reaction to direct the damage to yourself.

Undead Control

Starting at 6th level, you learn how to take control of undeads. As a bonus action, you can attempt to seize control over an undead within 60ft. The undead must roll a Charisma Saving Throw, with a DC that equals to 20 plus your proficiency modifier minus its CR, being controled by you on a failure. You lose control of the undead after 1 hour or if you fall unconscious. If the undead succeeds on the saving throw, it immediatly uses it's reaction to spend all of it's move to get closer to you and attack if you are within it's range.

You can use this feature a number of times equal to your Charisma modifier, you regain all expended charges after a Long Rest.

Quick Army

At 14th level, you learn how to summon undeads for a small period of time. As an action, you can summon 2d4+4 Skeletons, 1d4+3 Zombies or 2 Ogre Zombies to aid you in battle for 1 hour. They always enter in the initiative order of 1, and they obey any verbal command given by you, but won't listen to other people's commands. They won't do anything else other than what you command. After 1 hour, the undeads are dismissed, immediatly burning into ashes. You can also dismiss the undeads by using a bonus action. You can use this feature once per Long Rest, or you can do so again by spending 12 sorcery points.

Undead Adaptability

Beginning at 18th level, you gain different bonuses whether there are undeads around or not.

If no other undead is within 120ft, you gain the following bonuses:

  • Your base AC increases to 15 and you can sum up your charisma modifier to it, instead of dexterity.
  • Your concentration on spells cannot be broken, and you can't be charmed or frightened by any means.

If there is at least 1 undead within 120ft other than you, you gain the following bonuses:

  • You gain resistance to all sources of damage except radiant.
  • Your spells deal increased damage equal to twice the ammount of undeads within 120ft.
