Base Class: Monk
Monks of the Way of the Italian Plumber are the ultimate masters of jumping. Yes, you heard me right. Jumping. They learn techniques to jump on their opponents, manipulate ki to jump on their opponents, and practiced advanced jumping that can make them jump better. These monks learn how to jump during their turn, which, if you land on an opponent, can deal damage. That's cool, right?
Jump Technique
Starting when you choose this tradition at 3rd level, you can jump. Whenever you hit a creature with one of your Jump attacks (costing an action and 1 ki point), you can deal 2 of your martial arts die and impose one of the following effects on that target:
- It must succeed on a Dexterity saving throw or be knocked prone.
- It must make a Strength saving throw. If it fails, you can push it up to 15 feet away from you
You can also jump during your movement, which costs no ki points, and can make you jump over or onto objects up to 10ft tall and you can jump over gaps of length up to half your movement.
Better Jumping
At 6th level, your jump is better. Your jump attack now deals 3 of your martial arts die. You can now jump up to 15ft high, and you can jump over gaps of length up to all your movement.
Eat Mushrooms
Beginning at 11th level, you can conjure a mushroom using 5 ki points as an action. You or another creature can eat these in a bonus action. These mushrooms heal twice your monk level.
Even Better Jumping
Being more precise and confident with jumping, you can jump more consistently. Your Jump attack now uses 0 ki points.
Even Betterer Jumping
At 17th level, your jumps are better, dealing 5 of your martial arts die. You can also jump twice your movement and 25ft high.
