Barbarian
Base Class: Barbarian

For Barbarians that follow the path of the Battlefocus, rage does not necessarily mean anger. They utilize their rage to push away any unneccessary thoughts and only focus on the task on hand: Beating the enemy at all cost. Any thoughts aside from winning the battle will have to wait for later. This is the only way for them and they expect the same from their enemies. Every shift in focus will be taken as an insult and will be greatly punished.

Close Combat Champion

When you select this path at 3rd level, while raging your focus in battle shifts to your immediate surrounding.

With every meelee attack you make while raging, you autamatically use the mark option (see DMG). For every marked enemy within 10 ft of you, you gain 2 temporary HP at the start of your turn. Instead of until the next round, enemies are marked until they get more than 15 ft away from you.

When you hit with a meelee attack, you can spend all of the temporary HP aquired this way and deal additional damage equal to the temporary HP spent. The damage type is the same as your weapon used for the attack. If it is an unarmed attack, it deals nonmagical bludgeoning damage. For the purpose of overcoming resistances, the damage type takes over the magical property of the weapon, if existant.

This concentrated focus leaves you open to long range attacks. Every enemie more than 60ft away from you has advantage on attack rolls against you and you have disadvantage on DEX saving throws if the effect originates from more than 60 ft away

Stationary Sentry

At 6th level, your fighting style has no more need for movement from anyone.

At the start of your turn, you can choose to spend all your movement without actually moving. Your speed drops to 0 until the start of your next turn. For each 10ft of movement spent this way, you gain 1 additional temporary HP. These temporary HP stack with the ones gained from the Close Combat Champion feature.

Also if you hit with an attack of opportunity against an enemy marked by you while raging, the enemies speed is dropped to 0 until the start of your next turn and it has disadvantage on attacks targetting anyone but you.

Defensive Deflection

For 10th level, your focus on your surrounding lets you use the enemies actions against themselves.

If you are hit with an meelee attack, you can use your reaction to halve the damage from this attack. If you use your Close Combat Champion feature to deal extra damage by spending your temporary hit points on your next turn, you can double the extra damage from this feature.

You can use this reaction an amount of times equal to your proficiency bonus and the uses are restored on a long rest.

Brawling Breakthrough

At 14th level you improved your techniques and extended the range of your focus, giving you the following benefits:

- Ranged Enemies no longer gain advantage attacking you

- Whenever you spend your temporary HP to boost the damage of a meelee attack with Close Combat Champion, you retain half (rounded down) of your temporary HP

- When you make an attack of opportunity against an enemy marked by you, you make a DC 13 DEX check. If you succeed, this attack does not count as an attack of opportunity, leaving you the ability to make another one on this turn. Every time you succeed on your check, the DC increases by 2 and it resets to 13 at the start of your turn.

- Your uses of Defensive Deflection refresh on a short or long rest
