Base Class: Monk
Monks of the Way of the Pure Fist devote themselves nigh fanatically to their mastery of martial arts by perfecting their bodies as living weapons. They embody their principle that the best offense requires the strongest defense. In combat, they are a cyclone of violence, weathering or countering all manner of attacks like they are mere leaves dancing in a gentle breeze.
*Disclaimer: This subclass borrows some elements of features from The Way of Survival and The Way of Freedom subclasses from Solasta: Crown of the Magister*
Defensive Strength
When you choose this tradition at 3rd level, your special martial arts training results in your preternatural ability to harness your body's raw toughness for both offense and defense. While not wearing armor and not wielding a shield, you add your Constitution modifier to your AC and damage rolls of unarmed strikes.
Swirling Dance
At 6th level, you have perfected the art of counterattacking, dancing around your foe's blows to strike back at them even harder. Whenever an enemy within your reach misses a melee attack against you, you can use your reaction to make a melee counterattack against them with advantage.
Unending Strikes
Beginning at 11th level, your mastery of fighting forms results in you becoming a hailstorm of blows. Flurry of Blows now allows you to make three attacks instead of two.
Unbreakable Stance
At 17th level, you learn the ability to use ki to preternaturally strengthen your defensive stance, pushing you past your physical limits to briefly gain nigh unbreakable body. Using Patient Defense now grants resistance to all damage until the beginning of your next turn.
