Bard
Base Class: Bard

The world is held together by the Weave. Why fight it? If you let the music take you, if you give in, you'll move with the world and the world will guide you where you need to be. In the middle of a pitched fight, you hear only the groove. It moves you where you need to be.

“It helps me think more clearly. It helps me get in the mood. It helps me feel the weave in my bones. If you think you need silence to know what’s going on around you, you’re not really listening.”

Battle Soundtrack

When you pick this bardic school at 3rd level, you gain a music player. On your turn, as a bonus action, you can plug in to your music. While plugged in, you gain the following benefits.

  • You have advantage on all saving throws.
  • You have advantage on Charisma (Performance) checks.
  • Your movement speed increases by 15 feet.
  • You are considered to be deafened to all sounds except your music.

You can remain plugged in for 1 minute. It ends early if you are knocked unconscious or if your turn ends and you haven’t cast a spell or been targeted by a spell since then. You can also unplug your music as a bonus action.

Once you have plugged in to your music a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus, you must finish a long rest before you can do so again.

Two Can Tango

Beginning at 6th level, when you plug in to your music, you can choose one ally within 10 feet of you to also receive the benefits of your Battle Soundtrack while you are plugged in and while the ally remains within 120 feet of you.

No Stopping the Groove

Beginning at 14th level, you regain all expended uses of your Battle Soundtrack when you finish a short or long rest.
