Base Class: Wizard
Founded before the age of the moons, the School of Arcane Embodiment stands as a testament to the unyielding pursuit of magical enlightenment and physical mastery, inspired in the pursuing champions that sought to become Divine Avatars. Originating in the militant wizard societies of the Age of Division and inspired by the monastical teachings of the P'Remik r'a-Lekh , the Words of Beauty, its teachings have adapted and transcended time and faced the arcane arts in Orisia to this day.
At its core lies the belief in the inseparable bond between mind and body, a philosophy that underpins the school's teachings. Wizards who walk the path of Arcane Embodiment delve deep into the mysteries of the arcane, seeking to enhance the latent potential within themselves. They believe that true mastery of magic cannot be achieved through the mere manipulation of spells and incantations but requires a profound understanding of the self and its connection to the arcane energies of the universe.
The founders of the School of Arcane Embodiment were visionaries who saw beyond the conventional boundaries of magic, recognizing that true power lay not just in the mind but in the embodied mind. They studied ancient texts and delved into forgotten rituals, seeking to unlock the secrets of enhancing one's physical form through the manipulation of arcane energies.
Central to the teachings of the School of Arcane Embodiment is the manifestation of magical energy within the body, empowering the practitioner with supernatural abilities. Through rigorous training and disciplined study, students learn to channel arcane energies to strengthen their bodies, heighten their senses, and enhance their combat prowess. They undergo rigorous physical conditioning, honing their martial skills alongside their magical abilities, until they become living conduits of raw arcane power.
The path of Arcane Embodiment is not an easy one. It demands unwavering dedication, discipline, and a willingness to confront one's own limitations. Students undergo rigorous training regimens, pushing themselves to the brink of exhaustion as they strive to unlock the full potential of their arcane abilities. They must master not only the intricacies of spellcasting but also the nuances of unarmed combat, blending the two seamlessly into a harmonious whole.
Yet, for those who persevere, the rewards are unparalleled. Wizards of the School of Arcane Embodiment transcend the boundaries of mortal limitations, becoming paragons of arcane prowess. They move with effortless grace, their bodies suffused with arcane energy, their minds sharpened to a razor's edge. In battle, they akin to the unstoppable forces of nature, their every movement a symphony of martial and magical might.
The true essence of the School of Arcane Embodiment lies in the profound connection forged between mind, body, and magic. It is a journey of discovery and enlightenment of the self and the universe, a quest to unlock the true potential that lies dormant within us all. And for those who walk this path, the possibilities are limitless, for they have become living embodiments of the arcane itself.
