Base Class: Barbarian
Barbarians who walk the Path of Sin tap into their inner demons, embracing their primal urges and giving in to the darker aspects of their nature. They become living embodiments of sin, wielding their vices as weapons and harnessing their rage to devastating effect.
Spirit of Sin
At 3rd level, when you adopt this path, you choose a sin and gain its features. At your option, you also gain minor physical attributes that are reminiscent of your sin. For example, if you have embraced wrath as your sin, your eyes may appear as though they are on fire, or if your sin is greed, your skin may shimmer like gold..
Envy
While raging, you gain advantage on attack rolls against creatures that have more hit points than you. Additionally, when a creature within 5 feet of you hits you with an attack, you can use your reaction to make a melee weapon attack against that creature. The sin of envy makes you stronger than those who have more than you.
Gluttony
While raging, you can use a bonus action to make a melee weapon attack against a creature within 5 feet of you whenever you reduce a creature to 0 hit points. Additionally, you gain resistance to poison damage and have advantage on saving throws against poison. The sin of gluttony not only gives you an iron stomach but urges you to overindulge in combat.
Greed
While raging, when you reduce a creature to 0 hit points, you gain temporary hit points equal to your Constitution modifier + your barbarian level (minimum of 1). The sin of greed allows you to steal the most important thing to someone, their very own life force.
Lust
While you’re raging, you gain advantage on Charisma (Persuasion) and Charisma (Intimidation) checks. Additionally, when you hit a creature with a melee weapon attack, you can choose to attempt to grapple the target as a bonus action. The sin of lust makes your words near irresistible.
Pride
While raging, you have advantage on saving throws against being charmed or frightened. Additionally, when you successfully resist a charm or fear effect, you gain advantage on your next attack roll or saving throw. The sin of pride causes your will to be greater than all those beneath you.
Sloth
While raging, your rage continues even when you do not make attacks or take damage. Additionally, you gain temporary hit points equal to your Constitution modifier at the end of each of your turns when you do not use an action. The sin of sloth empowers you as you relax.
Wrath
While raging, you deal extra damage equal to your Rage damage bonus on your first melee weapon attack each turn. The sin of wrath makes you powerful enough to destroy all who evoke your rage.
Temptation's Resilience
At 6th level, your connection to sin grants you resilience against magical effects that would hinder your abilities. You gain advantage on saving throws against spells and other magical effects that would charm or frighten you.
Sinful Strike
Starting at 10th level, when you make a critical hit with a melee weapon attack while raging, you can choose to deal additional damage of a type associated with your chosen sin:
Wrath: additional 1d8 thunder damage.
Greed: additional 1d8 force damage.
Lust: additional 1d8 psychic damage.
Pride: additional 1d8 radiant damage.
Sloth: additional 1d8 necrotic damage.
Envy: additional 1d8 acid damage.
Gluttony: additional 1d8 poison damage.
Mark of the Beast
At 14th level, your connection to sin reaches its pinnacle, allowing you to tap into your most primal instincts. When you enter a rage, you can choose to enter a state of frenzied rage. While in this frenzied rage, you can make one additional melee weapon attack when you take the Attack action on your turn. Additionally, you have advantage on melee weapon attack rolls and Strength checks, and you can't be charmed or frightened. This frenzied rage lasts for 1 minute. Once you use this feature, you can't use it again until you finish a long rest.
