Bards who take up this path are not the dancing and singing types but more often the story telling, record keeping type of bard. With access to some of the most revered information in the Kingdom these special souls keep the secrets of the ages and pass it on to those who will listen. While not a class given to being adventurers, they are required to complete “field research” before being granted membership and are expected to continue their studies with any necessary research.

Library Pass

At 3rd level, when your membership is approved, you are granted an all access pass to any library curated by a fellow Brother. Also at 3rd level you gain proficiency in the History skill, and 2 bonus languages. you also gain proficiency with book-binding tools.

Parlay

At 3rd level when you cast “Comprehend languages” and expend a bardic inspiration dice you can apply the spell effect to a number of targets equal to your bard level.

Unseen Scribe

At 6th level you may expend a bardic inspiration dice to cast “Unseen Servant”, this servant can scribe anything you telepathically communicate to it. If you spend an action concentrating on an image it will attempt to replicate it. It makes a DC 12 Tool use check using your intelligence modifier to reproduce the image. It cannot be used to scribe scrolls, copy spells or make accurate forgeries. It does not edit or make any adjustments to what your telling it, but rather is a true and faithful copy of your active thoughts.

Lore Master

At 14th level you may cast “Legend Lore” once per short rest without using a spell slot or material components.
