Druid
Base Class: Druid

The Circle of the Sky is made up of Wanderers and Vagabonds. Not bound to a specific place like other druids, they instead choose to chase the sky that connects the entire plane. They value freedom much more than other druids, and instead of only focusing on one specific teaching, they gather as many valuable teachings from places they wander to as they can and are more open minded than other druids, seeking to share the joys of freedom with others around them. As a member of this circle, your magic is fueled by the clouds and winds of the world.

Sky Forms

Starting at 2nd level you can use your wild shape to transform into a beast with a flying speed, if the beast you take the form of is not a swarm and has a challenge rating of 0.

Additionally, at 2nd level you learn the gust cantrip, which doesn't count towards the number of druid cantrips you know, and you gain the ability to cast it as a bonus action. You may also cast this cantrip in any form as long as you have a flying speed, giving you the ability to provide verbal and somatic components even if your form normally isn't capable of doing so.

Starting at 8th level, whenever you use your wild shape to transform into a beast with a flying speed and a challenge rating of 0, you do not expend a wild shape and you may remain in that form indefinitely, until you use a bonus action to revert to your normal form.

Aura of Wind

Starting at 2nd level, whenever you or another creature within 10 feet of you would be hit with a ranged attack, you may use your reaction to cause a sudden burst of wind to emit from the creature being targeted, increasing their AC against that attack by twice your proficiency modifier, potentially turning a hit into a miss.

After using this feature, you may choose to concentrate on this aura as if concentrating on a spell. If you do so, a lighter but constant aura of wind blows around the creature that was protected, blowing away light objects and gaining them AC against all further ranged attacks equal to your proficiency bonus for up to 1 minute or until you lose concentration. Against melee attacks their AC remains unchanged. As a bonus action, you may move this aura to another creature within 30 feet of you or yourself.

Once you use this feature you can't use it again until you finish a long rest.

Circle Spells

Your mystical connection to the sky infuses you with the ability to cast certain spells. At 3rd, 5th, 7th, and 9th level you gain access to circle spells connected to the sky.

Once you gain access to a circle spell, you always have it prepared, and it doesn’t count against the number of spells you can prepare each day. If you gain access to a spell that doesn’t appear on the druid spell list, the spell is nonetheless a druid spell for you.

Sky Wanderer

Starting at 6th level, you cannot get lost while traveling if you see the open sky (including a clouded or stormy sky). You can automatically retrace your steps and find any place you know of without error, assuming the information you have about the location is accurate.

In addition, when you take a short rest under the open sky, you can roll any number of Hit Dice you use to regain HP twice and ignore the lower result. You may share this benefit with a number of other creatures you choose up to your proficiency modifier.

Wings of Freedom

When you reach 10th level, you can expend one use of your wild shape feature as a bonus action to sprout wings from your back, resembling those of a flying beast of your choice, and gain a flying speed equal to your walking speed + 10 feet. Unlike a normal wild shape, this feature doesn't change your statistics or spellcasting abilities, and you can even use it while wild-shaped into a beast without a natural flying speed to gain one.

While having these wings, you may use a bonus action on each of your turns to call upon the strength of the sky to protect you, gaining you 1 temporary hit point for every full 10 feet above the nearest ground you are, up to a maximum equal to your druid level. These temporary hit points last as long as this form does, which is the same duration as a regular wild shape.

Gifts of the Sky

When you reach 14th level, your desire for freedom grants you advantage on ability checks and saving throws to avoid or end being paralyzed, stunned, petrified, restrained or incapacitated.

Additionally, whenever you use your Wild Shape to transform into a form with a flying speed or use your Wings of Freedom, you may also subject a number of other willing creatures within 30 feet of you up to your proficiency modifier to the same change, letting them gain all of the same benefits you gain from that change. Their form change lasts until you assume a different form or return to your regular one.
