Base Class: Monk
Monks who devote themselves to the Way of the Eldritch Acolyte delve into the unfathomable mysteries of eldritch gods and realms beyond mortal understanding. They immerse themselves in the abyssal depths of forbidden knowledge, emerging from their dark studies forever changed. Their minds, touched by the chilling whispers of otherworldly revelations, become conduits for arcane power, allowing them to wield the forces of the cosmos with unmatched mastery.
Eldritch Veil
3rd-level Way of the Eldritch Acolyte feature
Drawing upon your deep study of forbidden eldritch lore, you spend a bonus action and 1 ki point to touch a creature that can see you and force them to confront the chilling whispers of cosmic entities. The target must make a Wisdom saving throw against your Ki save DC. On a failed save, the creature is briefly ensnared by the eldritch veil, causing them to experience a fleeting bout of madness. They must roll a d12 on the Minor Madness table (see below) and suffer the effect for 1 minute, their mind momentarily touched by the unearthly revelations you wield. The creature can attempt to shake off the madness at the end of each of their turns by rerolling their saving throw, with success ending the effect. You may also choose to spend 1 ki point ti use this feature whenever you make an unarmed strike. You can use this ability no more than once per turn.
At 17th level, a creature affected by madness in this way also takes 1d8 psychic damage on each of their turns that they are affected.

Eldritch Shield
3rd-level Way of the Eldritch Acolyte feature
You can manipulate forces, either from this world or from another, to create a protective barrier for a brief moment. You can spend 3 Ki points to cast the Shield spell on yourself as a reaction.
Phantasmal Reach
6th-level Way of the Eldritch Acolyte feature
You are able to partially manifest your form as you appear in another dimension. You gain spectral arms or tendrils extending from your body, which you can use to make unarmed strikes out to a range of 10 feet. Whenever you make an unarmed strike this way, it is considered magical for the purposes of resisting attacks. When you are not using your spectral appendage(s) in this way, they are invisible and innate.
Otherworldly Might
11th-level Way of the Eldritch Acolyte feature
Your understanding of Eldritch forces can enhance your physical power. Your unarmed strikes now deal extra damage equal to your Wisdom modifier (minimum of 1).
Seeing Through the Veil
17th-level Way of the Eldritch Acolyte feature
You can see figures and structures from the psychic realm as objects in the world around you. Your psychic powers permeate from you and pierce into the minds of others. When you afflict a creature with madness using the Eldritch Veil feature, creatures also take 1d8 Psychic damage on each of their turns that they are effected.
You gain the ability to speak telepathically with any creature you can see within 60 feet of you. The creature understands your telepathic speech, even if you do not share a known language.
