The Shadow Master is a formidable subclass for fighters in the world of Dungeons and Dragons. Masters of stealth and manipulation, they possess a deep connection to the shadows, granting them unique abilities to traverse darkness and bend it to their will.At the heart of their arsenal is their ability to travel through shadows effortlessly, allowing them to move swiftly and unseen across the battlefield. Whether slipping from shadow to shadow to approach their foes unnoticed or using the darkness as a veil to retreat from danger, Shadow Masters are masters of subterfuge and escape. In addition to their prowess in shadowy travel, Shadow Masters possess the ability to manipulate shadows to their advantage. They can weave darkness into tangible forms, creating illusions to distract or confuse enemies, or conjuring shadowy weapons to strike at their foes from unexpected angles. As they progress in their mastery of the shadows, Shadow Masters become increasingly elusive and unpredictable, striking fear into the hearts of their enemies and emerging victorious from even the darkest of encounters. With their unparalleled control over the realm of shadows, they are a force to be reckoned with on the battlefield.

Shadow Travel

When you choose this archetype at 3rd level, as a free action instead of using your movement you can dip into a shadow and move to any other shadow in sight or spend the round safely in the shadow, you may hold an action for your next turn or for a set condition as usual. If you choose to attack from the shadow you gain advantage on the attack due to being hidden. in this state you also cannot fail a stealth check as you are fully a part of the shadow. (you also gain prof. in stealth)

Shadow Touched

At 3rd level you gain resistance to necrotic damage and vulnerability to radiant damage. this is due to your time spent in shadows and growing accustomed to the feeling of dark energy, however this drags you further from the safety of light.

Shadow Manipulation

Starting at 7th level you gain the ability to maniplate shadows, initially you can either make offensive shadows or defensive shadows (eg. weaponry or protection).

if you choose offensive, you can create any weapon, this weapon does 3d8 +str necrotic damage and will dissipate if you lose conciousness or you can choose to dispel it.

if you choose defensive, you can create armour/shields which give you a +5 to ac or walls which are 10x10ft and have 2d100 +100 hp.

Offesnive Shadows

You can create any weapon out of shadows these weapons do 3d8 +str necrotic damge and take an action to create. the weapons you create cannot be taken from you or given to others. these weapons also include your strength mod. to damage and to hit.

Protective Shadows

if you choose this option you can manipulate shadows into armour, shields or walls. armour/shields give you a +5 to ac. walls are 10x10ft and have 2d100 +100hp. these only dissapear if you dispel them or they are destroyed/ you lose conciousness.

Shadow Weaver

At 10th level, you can turn your shadows into solid objects and make them more powerful. this adds utility to Shadow Masters as well as meaning they can aid their party if they lose weapons or armour.

you gain the ability to make your creations into solid objects. This means you can now give armor/weapons/shields made of shadows to others. These cannot be destroyed unless via divine intervention. this also improves your shadow creations significantly: increases damage to 6d8 +str.        increases ac buff to +8, increases wall health to 20d100 +1000.

Shadow Summon

you can summon a shadow version of any create with a cr = to half your level rounded up. this creature follows your commands no matter what and is dispelled if it reaches 0hp or if you dispel it.
can summon up to half your proficiency bonus rounded up creatures at a time.

Shadow Possession

At 15th level you gain the ability to "possess" a creature within 15ft of you, the creature is forced to copy your actions exactly unless they pass a dc (20 +your con mod.) wisdom save which they retake at the start of each of their turns. If you move they move the same distance/If you throw an attack when they are near someone they attack that person etc.

Lowkey on some shikamaru shit you can control a creatures body and they can only escape by passing a wisdom save

Shadow Monarch

At 18th level you gain the ability to steal the shadow of someone you have killed, this is a perfect copy of the person they can fight and will follow your orders willingly. you can "save" up to 6 shadows which you can summon at will. you can allso dispel a shadow from your command which releases them forever. if the shadow falls to 0hp they go back into you and cannot be summoned again until you have taken a long rest.
