Base Class: Warlock
You've negotiated a pact with a powerful illithid or elder brain, entities that transcend mortal understanding. These cerebral beings exist beyond the conventional boundaries of thought, wielding intellects so vast and alien that they defy mortal comprehension. Formerly mortal themselves, these entities unravel the mysteries of consciousness, ambition, and forbidden lore, freely sharing their arcane insights with those who pledge allegiance to their inscrutable cause. In this unholy union, the Mindflayer or Elder Brain imparts eldritch secrets, unraveling the threads of reality and expanding the boundaries of your mortal mind.
Your thoughts flow seamlessly between yourself and your patron, perhaps the connection is purely psionic, or perhaps a dormant Mind flayer tadpole within you grants your psychic abilities.

1st-level Eldermind feature
Your patrons Psionic abilities allow you to choose from an expanded list of spells when you learn a warlock spell as well as use your Intelligence as a spellcasting modifier instead of you Charisma. The following spells are added to the warlock spell list for you.

Hive Mind
1st-level Eldermind feature
You can telepathically communicate over any distance with your patron as well as illithids that are willing to communicate with you. You also emit a 60ft. radius telepathic field around you to allow any creatures of your choice to communicate mentally. The telepathy does not translate languages. You also gain resistance to psychic damage as psychic damage you receive is shared among the hive mind of the illithid colony.
Your DM will decide the personality and goals of your patron. If you call on them for favours or information they may do the same to you. As an example you may request your patron lend you a mind flayer tadpole so you can turn someone into a mind flayer and in return they may ask you to lure some humanoids to their colony so that they may feast on their brains.
Cerebral Backlash
6th-level Eldermind feature
You learn to use the psionic powers of an aberration to retaliate against attacks. When a creature you can see causes damage to you, you can use your reaction to make them take psychic damage equal to your Intelligence modifier.
Mind Blast
10th-level Eldermind feature
You gain the ability to harness and replicate the power of an illithid's mind blast. You magically emits psychic energy in a 60-foot cone. Each creature in that area must succeed on an Intelligence saving throw against your spell save DC or take 4d8 + your Intelligence modifier psychic damage and be stunned for 1 minute. A creature can repeat the saving throw at the end of each of its turns, ending the effect on itself on a success.
Once you use this feature you cannot do so again until after a long rest unless you spend a pact slot to do so.
Consume Brain
14th-level Eldermind feature
Your connection with an illithid colony has caused you to grow a grotesque hunger. When you make an unarmed strike you can attempt to extract the brain of an incapacitated medium or smaller creature that has a brain to deal 10d10 piercing damage. If this damage reduces the target to 0 hit points they die instantly and you devour their brain. After devouring a brain you recover a pact slot or gain an amount of temporary hit points equal to the damage you just dealt (your choice).
Once you use this feature you cannot do so again until after you finish a long rest.
