Warlock
Base Class: Warlock

In life, there is only one sure thing - Death. There is something called immortality but those gifted with it are not immune from the Reaper's Scythe. There is always an end. And your patron wants to be assured of that.

Your patron is either Death itself or a god of death: Anubis, Hel, Hades, the Raven Queen, etc. All they ask of you is to be fed fresh souls by whatever means are at your disposal, and you'll be given plenty of tools to further this goal.

Bonus Proficiencies

Starting at 1st level, you have proficiency with martial weapons, medium armor, and shields.

Expanded Spell List

Your patron has gifted you with an Expanded Spell List (see below).

EXPANDED SPELL LIST

Spell Level        Spells

1st    False Life, Inflict Wounds

2nd    Blindness/Deafness, Silence

3rd     Bestow Curse, Speak With Dead

4th     Black Tentacles, Phantasmal Killer

5th     Contagion, Raise Dead

Avatar of the Reaper

Starting at 1st level, your patron allows you to show its aspect to your enemies, a great, black-cloaked figure sweeping a giant scythe through any within a 30 foot radius of you. Your ememies must make a Wisdom saving throw against your spell save DC or run in terror. These creatures will recover at the end of your next turn. Ones that succeed on their saving throw suffer no effect.

You may use this ability once per short rest.

Necrotic Resistance

Starting at 6th level, your patron bestows upon you resistance to necrotic damage.

Dealer of Death

Starting at 6th level, your patron makes you a more potent dealer of death. Your weapons inflict an extra 1d8 + your CHA modifier necrotic damage on a successful strike. This damage increases to 2d8 + your CHA modifier at 14th level.

Necrotic Wave

Starting at 10th level, you can unleash a wave of necrotic energy that moves out in a 60 foot radius from you doing 8d10 necrotic damage unless a creature within the wave makes a CON saving throw vs your spell save DC. If their saving throw is successful, they take half damage. This ability can be used once per short rest.

Aspect of Death

Your physical attractiveness increases so that you're less frightening to those you've come to take to the afterlife. You gain a +1 bonus to your CHA score and gain advantage on CHA ability checks and saving throws.

This increase can surpass the 20 point limit.

Life Siphon

Starting at 14th level, when you make the attack that kills an enemy, you gain half that creature's maximum hit points as temporary hit points. These hit points stack with extra kills and last until taken by damage or you take a short rest.

Reaper's Touch

Starting at 14th level, you can cast the Finger of Death spell once per short rest. This is in addition to your pact spells.

Necrotic Immunity

Starting at 14th level, you are immune to necrotic damage.
