Base Class: Warlock
There are many types of warlocks wandering the planes seeking out the fruits of their ambitions. What comes to mind for most folk when they hear of warlocks are dangerous cultists or mad mages who seek too many answers. Generally speaking, people imagine archetypes of warlocks as people who take on features and traits of their unique patrons, and generally have fiendish or aberrant qualities that standout and make them all the more ghastly to behold. However, not all warlocks are zealous cultists or evil magic users bent on fulfilling the cause of their patron. There are in fact warlocks that appear to be regular people leading ordinary lives. These warlocks are usually rash people who are foolish enough to strike a bargain with a powerful entity for paltry gifts. These warlocks are often selfish and greedy, and they do not fight for the cause of their patron out of belief in it, but rather as a means to retain the gifts of their patron. Warlocks of this kind are normal people that by chance had a confrontation with their patron, and due to their greed were willing to give up something important in exchange for abilities and gifts that transcend their sedentary lives. Patrons that make pacts with these warlocks can vary from essentially any powerful entity that enjoys preying on the flaws of mortals for their own gain. Possible patrons include fiends who gift their warlock in exchange for the warlock's assistance in corrupting the society around them in subtle ways, or a powerful demon from the abyss who will trade gifts for the warlock's soul, among many other possibilities. Oftentimes warlocks like these are in consistent communication with their patron.
There are many possible motivations for normal folk to become warlocks of this kind. Some seek wealth, better love lives, restoration of youth, power, knowledge, or just just general luck in their lives. Whatever the reason may be, these people are too ignorant to realize the weight of what they are giving up in exchange for these gifts, and will often seek ways to break their pact later in their lives.

Prize for the Foolish
The gift bestowed by your patron can vary depending on what you desire. You gain one of the following gifts from the following options.
Avarice: You acquire wealth in the form of coins or gems from your patron. At 1st level you obtain 10d12 additional starting gold, and an additional 10d10 gold every time you gain a level in this class. Your DM can allow you to acquire additional wealth from your patron when you fulfill your patron's requests. This wealth in gold can be gained in the form of any coin currency or gems or jewels, or even trinkets according to the will of the DM. These acquired valuables seem to appear magically on your person when you gain them.
Youth: In your efforts to postpone your own death you have sought the aid of your patron. At 1st level your apparent age is reduced by a maximum of 3d12 years, and you can choose to appear younger by an amount of years that are less than this amount but no more (note, this does NOT extend your lifespan). At 5th level in this class your physicality matches your apparent age, and you cannot be magically aged or suffer the effects of old age. At 14th level in this class you can choose to appear as any age that you desire. Finally, at 20th level in this class your lifespan is extended by 3d12 years.
Twist of Fate: You simply desire for things to go right in your life. At 1st level your patron blesses you with 1 luck point (as seen in the Lucky feat). This luck point is regained after a long rest and functions exactly as other luck points do in the Lucky feat. If the Lucky feat is taken, then the luck point gained by this subclass is added to the total luck points gained from the Lucky feat.
There are many other possible gifts that could be given to you by your patron instead of these. Work with your DM to gain a different gift at 1st level if none of these options match the desires of your character.
Additionally on top of the gift given by your patron, you gain one eldritch invocation at 1st level.
Powers of the Patron
Upon reaching 6th level, your patron grants you more access to their own eldritch capabilities. As a show of trust, your patron allows you to gain an additional eldritch invocation. Additionally, you acquire the ability to cast Divination (still requiring material components) once every 7 days without using a spell slot, in which you contact your patron for the spell. This spell does not count against your total spells known for this class.
Eldritch Empowerment
At 10th level, your patron has become quite pleased with your upkeep of the bargain between the two of you. Your patron gifts unto you either an additional eldritch invocation, or an ability score improvement (taking a feat instead is still an option in this scenario), and any ability scores improved by this feature cannot increase beyond a score of 20 as normal.
Your patron also teaches you how to do something you've always wanted to be able to do. You gain proficiency in one skill of your choice.
Your patron is also more willing to offer you advice in your travels. You are now allowed to cast Divination once every other day without using a spell slot, and you now have the ability to cast Commune without material components and without using a spell slot once every 3 days, entreating your patron when casting this spell. This spell does not count against your total spells known in this class.
The Gifted One
At 14th level, you become a champion of your patron. As a sign of their respect for your pact, you gain both an additional eldritch invocation and an ability score improvement (taking a feat instead is still possible).
You also gain proficiency in two skills of your choice.
As a final gift, your patron also allows you to reinvent your eldritch capabilities. You are allowed to swap an amount of eldritch invocations equal to your Charisma modifier for different eldritch invocations.
