Base Class: Monk
A monk stands in combat, sighing as the guards surrounding him attempt to stab and slice his ever flowing figure. He moves before the guards even think to strike next, almost as if predicting each attack seconds before they occur. He finally twists and slams his closed fist into the stomach of the nearest guard, launching him in an arc away from his fist. He kicks out with a foot wreathed in flame, throwing it towards another guard and immolating the poor man in his armor. He at last breathes in as the air around him crackles to life in a furious storm and grows twice, four times, again and again in size, until he stands taller than the nearby buildings. His hand crackles with lightning as he slams it down, leaving ashes behind. He shrinks again, and pulls out a wineskin, taking a swig and walking away.
Way of the Giant
Those following the way of the giant are not your typical monk, forgoing the exclusive focus on skill and peace by allowing their more primal ability to step in. These monks focus on cultivating strength as well as skill to deliver the brutal strikes of giants in order crush their foes. Often, these monks are seen as beasts and brutes by other sects and nearby civilians. As such, they became far more lax in their ways of decorum, found drinking and engaging in the hedonistic pleasures of the outside world.
Monasteries which teach this path are all but nonexistent, instead being taught by a single master to a single student as they wander from place to place. True masters of this path have almost entirely died out, instead being carried on by legend and writings carried by its practitioners.
Monks of this path are always on the run, enjoying a town only as long as they are welcome before being chased out. Eventually, many hope they will have a place of their own, but until then, they live as true giants, alone and strong.
