As a Veilbreaker sorcerer, you delve into the mysteries of shadow magic, unlocking its secrets to wield its power as your own. Through your connection to the Veilbreakers, a clandestine society steeped in ancient lore, you gain insight into the hidden truths that lie beyond the veil of reality.

Shadow Storage(Level 1)

You possess the ability to store non-living objects within your shadow. The weight limit for such storage is thrice your own weight. You can retrieve these objects at will.

Mark of the Veilbreaker(Level 1)

Veilbreakers ally with those who bear the Shadow Veil, offering aid, shelter, and resources to further their cause. Also gives advantage on Insight checks.

Shadow control (Level 1)

Through your mastery of shadow magic, you gain the ability to manipulate darkness to conjure weapons and objects of your choosing. You can create shadow weapons such as swords, axes, or bows, each infused with the power of the shadows. These weapons are proficiently wielded by you, and are based on your charisma modifier.

Additionally, you can fashion basic objects and tools from shadow, such as ropes, keys, or torches. While these objects lack the durability and complexity of their mundane counterparts, they serve their purpose effectively and can be created with a mere thought.

When you create a shadow weapon, it deals necrotic damage equal to 1d10. At 5th level, the damage increases to 2d10 necrotic, and it further increases to 3d10 at 11th level, and 4d10 at 17th level, . These weapons cannot be shared with others. The damage increases as you delve deeper into your mastery of shadow magic, channeling more of its potent energy into your creations.

The amount of weapons or items you can have at once is your charisma modifier.

Shadow Clone(Level 6)

At 6th level, you gain the ability to manifest a perfect duplicate of yourself from your shadow. As an action, you can create this shadow clone, which emerges from your shadow and stands before you, ready to follow your commands.

This shadow clone is an exact replica of yourself, possessing your physical appearance. However, it lacks the vitality and autonomy of a living being, possessing only 1 hit point and lacking the ability to speak, cast spells, use reactions, use class feats, or make attacks.

The shadow clone exists solely to carry out your will, obeying your telepathic commands without question.

Shadow Wings(Level 14)

At 14th level, you gain the ability to form your shadow into wings from your back, gaining a flying speed equal to your current speed. You can create these wings as a bonus action on your turn. They last until you dismiss them as a bonus action on your turn.

You can’t manifest your wings while wearing armor unless the armor is made to accommodate them, and clothing not made to accommodate your wings might be destroyed when you manifest them.

Shadow Overlord

At 18th level, your mastery over shadow magic transcends mortal limits, allowing you to become a true master of the shadows. With a mere thought, you can channel the power of the shadows within, gaining complete control over their essence.

Once per long rest, for 1 minute, you become the undisputed ruler of the shadows, commanding their power with unparalleled skill and precision. During this time, all spells that utilize shadow magic become free to cast, requiring no expenditure of sorcery points or spell slots. The shadows bend to your will, shaping themselves into formidable weapons and defenses at your command.

Furthermore, whenever you slay a creature within the hour, you absorb its life force, replenishing your own reserves of magical energy. For each creature you kill, you regain hit points equal to 1 for every 10 hit points the creature had. 

As the Shadow Overlord, you command the very essence of darkness itself, bending it to your will and shaping it into a potent force for destruction. With each victory, your dominion over the shadows grows stronger, ensuring that none can stand against the might of your shadowy reign.
