Base Class: Sorcerer
You are blessed with a supremely unique place in the weave. Fate bends itself around you, shaping the wills of fortune so that you are able to, despite all odds, excel at whatever you set your mind to. Luck is a capricious beast, but you have, for one reason or another, been granted its favor.
Good Luck
At 1st level, you have a pool of luck points equal to your proficiency bonus. Whenever you make an attack roll, an ability check, or a saving throw, you can spend one luck point to reroll all of the d20s involved in the roll. You can also spend one luck point to force a creature other than you to reroll a check, attack roll, or saving throw and take the lowest of the two rolls. You regain your expended luck points when you finish a long rest.
If you take the Lucky feat, it replaces this feature, except for your luck points, which are pooled together.
Advantageous Defense
At 6th level, your luck has begun to protect you defensively during combat. You may, as a reaction, spend up to 3 luck points, increasing your AC by one for each point spent. Your AC returns to normal at the start of your next turn. You also gain advantage on Initiative rolls.
Fortuitous Skill
At 14th level, your luck extends even further. Any check, attack roll, or saving throw rolled by you rolls a critical success on an 18-20.
Defy Death
At 18th level, your unique place in the weave, bending around you to keep you save, is able to save you even from the brink of death. Whenever you are dropped to 0 hit points, you can spend 2 luck points to drop to a number of hit points equal to 1 + your Charisma modifier (minimum of 1) instead.
