Base Class: Fighter
The Gem Knight takes the might of a fighter, and combine it with the ability to boost their weapons with elemental damage.
Chipped Gem
When selecting Gem-Knight at Level 3, and choosing Gem Knight, they must select their base gem. Additional abilities and features will be granted to the Gem Knight.

Empower Gem
As a swift action, the Gem Knight may empower their weapon for one turn, granting additional damage based on what gem they picked. A Gem Knight may only empower their weapon a total of 4 times, resetting after a long rest. Additional damage is not multiplied by crit.
Ruby: 1d4 fire damage (1d6 if weapon is two-handed)
Sapphire: 1d4 cold damage (1d6 if weapon is two-handed)
Emerald: 1d4 poison damage (1d6 if weapon is two-handed)
Topaz: 1d4 lightning damage (1d6 if weapon is two-handed)
Flawed Gem
Upon reaching 7th Level, the Gem Knight's gem starts to become more refined. The additional damage from Empowered Gem is increased to 1d6 (1d8 for two-handed weapons). Empowered Gem can now be used 6 times per long rest.
Normal Gem
Upon reaching 10th Level, the Gem's Knight's gem has refined more. The additional damage from Empowered Gem is increased to 1d8 (1d10 for two-handed). Empowered Gem can now be used 10 times per long rest. The Gem Knight now gains resistance towards the given element of their gem.
Additionally, the Gem Knight may now send out a 15 ft cone of the gem's element, dealing the bonus damage to all creatures within the cone.
Flawless Gem
Upon reaching 15th Level, the Gem Knight's gem has refined more. The additional damage from Empowered Gem now increases to 1d10 (2d6 for two-handed) Empowered Gem can now be used 14 times per long rest. Additional damage can now be multiplied by crit.
Additionally, the 15ft cone attack now deals an additional 1d6 damage
Perfect Gem
Upon reaching 18th Level, the Gem Knight's gem has been fully refined. The additional damage from Empowered Gem is increased to 2d6 damage (2d8 for two-handed). Empowered Gem now no longer has a total use per long rest. Additionally, the Gem Knight is immune to the damage of their given gem.
