Barbarian
Base Class: Barbarian

You have grown up surrounded casters though never ended up with any real magical ability and because of it you were mocked left and right by those you grew up with who all ended up being very skilled with their various magical abilities while you ended up incapable of spell casting. Through the years and years of ridicule you find yourself holding grudges and getting more and more upset till finally you find yourself so full of spite that you just find yourself being able to cast some spells. You feel the urge to prove yourself to any and all spell casters and feel more and more capable magic.

Spellcasting

When you reach 3rd level, you find that as you rage you can feel magic flow through your body, and you begin to understand how control it, letting you use your anger to cast spells. While not in rage you can cast cantrips however you can only cast leveled spells when raging. You cannot cast spells the same round that you rage in, you can't cast in armor except shields, you can concentrate on spells however if you the concentration save then you lose the spell and also rage.

Cantrips

You learn two cantrips. You learn an additional cantrip at 10th level.

Spell Slots

The Path of Spiteful Casting Spellcasting table shows how many spell slots you have to cast your spells of 1st level and higher. To cast one of these spells, you must expend a slot of the spell’s level or higher. You regain all expended spell slots when you finish a short rest.

Spells Known of 1st-Level and Higher

You prepare three 1st-level spells of your choice.

The Spells Known column of the Path of Spiteful Casting Spellcasting table shows when you learn more spells of 1st level or higher. Each of these spells must be of a level for which you have spell slots. For instance, when you reach 7th level in this class, you can learn one new spell of 1st or 2nd level.

Whenever you take a long rest you can swap out one of your spells for a different one that you know. The new spell must be of a level for which you have spell slots.

Spellcasting Ability

Strength is your spellcasting ability for your spells, since you learn your spells through channeling your inner hate. You use your Strength whenever a spell refers to your spellcasting ability. In addition, you use your Strength modifier when setting the saving throw DC for a spell you cast and when making an attack roll with one.

Spell save DC = 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Strength modifier

Spell attack modifier = your proficiency bonus + your Strength modifier

Magic of Anger

3rd-level Path of Spite feature

At third level you find yourself being so spiteful that it gets easier to concentrate on your magic and you feel like your anger fuels your damage with magic. You are now able to throw your rage damage onto your spell damage as well as to maintain concentration on your spells that would otherwise require it.

Spiteful Defense

6th-level Path of Spite feature

You find yourself being so spiteful that you assume all casters look down on your spell casting ability. In maintaining this mindset you find yourself being more and more upset with them and when raging you feel that they deal less damage to you. At 6th level you gain resistance to magic damage while raging.

Spiteful Recovery

10th-level Path of Spite feature

You find that due to sheer spite you can cast an additional spell that's level is no higher then half your rage slots rounded up. This can be done once per short rest and costs one bonus action to do.

Spiteful Boost

14th-level Path of Spite feature

You find that your able to focus your anger to improve your spell save DC and spell attack rolls. You find yourself being able to as a reaction add half your rage damage rounded up to your Spell Save DC and Spell Attack Rolls once per rage.
