Blood Hunter
Base Class: Blood Hunter

There are a handful of Orders among the Blood Hunters that guard, hone, and teach their secrets to new members. All of them share some of the most basic and fundamental aspects of Hemocraft. Some may choose to not join a specialized Order,  instead focusing on mastery of the original arts of the Blood Hunters. Those who follow the Path dedicate their life to increasing the potency of basic Hemocraft.

Expert Rite

Long practice and study has expanded your skill with your Crimson Rite. When activating your rite it can now effect two weapons at once (this can include a shield). You may also choose to spend an additional hemocraft die to amplify your Crimson Rite, allowing you to activate it using your reaction instead of a bonus action.

Curse Specialist

Starting at 3rd level, you learn to master blood curses. You gain an additional use of your Blood Maledict feature. In addition, your blood curses can target any creature, whether it has blood or not.

Hunter's Prowess

Your choice to perfect basic Blood Hunter skills has allowed you to more effectively hunt the monsters of the world through stealth and preparation. You gain advantage on Stealth checks to avoid detection by Fey, Fiends, Undead, or any creature under the effects of your Brand of Castigation. You also count as one size larger when determining your carrying capacity.

Enhanced Castigation

Your understanding of the Brands used by Blood Hunters allows you to increase their strength. You can now have 2 Brands of Castigation active at the same time. Anytime a branded creature deals damage to you or a creature you can see within 15 feet of you, the branded creature takes psychic damage equal to your Hemocraft modifier (minimum of 1).

Dark Vitality

Your study of Hemocraft has given you a deep understanding of the body and the various ways that it can be damaged, repaired, and strengthened. You gain the feat Healer. You also gain the ability to protect your own body from a small amount of damage when using Hemocraft. Any time you would roll a Hemocraft die to use an ability, you instead take no damage. This feature can only be used once. You regain it's use after a Long Rest.

Crimson Rite Mastery

You have mastered the use of your Crimson Rite. You may now have 2 rites active on a weapon at the same time.
