Base Class: Paladin
The Oath of the Sentinel is founded upon the concept of protection from the vast evils in this world that would destroy everything held dear to the hearts of its citizens: love, companionship, law, family, and life. Taking the mantle of unseen guardians, these paladins are those who weave there way through the world, secretly foiling the plans of dark mages, corrupt officials, slavers, fiends, and the like. Warrior's who swear this oath often strive to remain unidentified as they do not wish to be a beacon of hope, but agents of good commonly nick-named vigilantes, guardians, or watchers. Diligently, these unseen protectors will wander from town to town bringing the will of good to wherever and whoever they go to, and the force of good is what they are called to serve.
Tenets of the Sentinel:
The Tenets of the Oath of the sentinel are mostly defined by the individual, but the universal beliefs are as follows.
Protector. Through my actions I must save lives and protect that which I love and cherish
There’s always a silver lining. Through your acts of mercy, kindness, and forgiveness, kindle the light of hope in the world, beating back despair.
Silent Guardian. Seek not fame and glory but let your actions be a testament to faith and duty. Cherish that which you preserve without being condescending.
Shelter the Light. Where there is good, beauty, love, and laughter in the world, stand against the wickedness that would swallow it. Where life flourishes, stand against the forces that would render it barren.
Preserve Your Own Light. Delight in song and laughter, in beauty and art. If you allow the light to die in your own heart, you can't preserve it in the world.
Channel divinity
Turn the Tide. As a bonus action, you can bolster injured creatures with your Channel Divinity. Each creature of your choice that can hear you within 30 feet of you regains hit points equal to 1d6 + your Charisma modifier (minimum of 1) if it has no more than half of its hit points.
Guided Strike. You can use your Channel Divinity to strike with supernatural accuracy. When you make an attack roll, you can use your Channel Divinity to gain a +10 bonus to the roll. You make this choice after you see the roll, but before the DM says whether the attack hits or misses.
Honed Martial Training
You now gain proficiency in longbows, shortbows, heavy/light/hand crossbows if you lacked the proficiency before and the choice to change your current fighting style to the archery fighting style, this change is permanent. You can now channel your divine smite through ranged weapon attacks as well as melee attacks.
Nimble Strike
When a creature provokes an opportunity attack, as part of one reaction you can draw one melee weapon that lacks the heavy property, attack, and stow the weapon. If you hit a creature with an opportunity attack, you can move up to half your speed immediately after the attack and as part of the same reaction. This movement doesn't provoke opportunity attacks.
Hidden Guardian
Beginning at 15th level, you or any one creature you determine is always under the effect of the bless spell. Your identity remains hidden from all non-magical means and you have advantage against any saves from any effects to discover your identity.
Avatar of Overwatch
At 20th level, you can assume the form of an Angelic fighter. Using your action, you undergo a transformation. For 1 minute, you gain the following benefits:
When you take the Attack action on your turn, you can make one additional attack as part of that action.
Wings sprout from your back and grant you a flying speed of 60 feet.
Any friendly creature that can see you gains advantage on saving throws against becoming charmed and frightened.
No creature can identify who you are unless previously knowing you.
