Base Class: Barbarian
Bone Warriors use the remains of their enemies to intimidate foes and increase their prowess on the battlefield.
Morbid Proficiency
When you reach 3rd level, you gain proficiency in Wisdom (Survival) checks. If you already have proficiency in Wisdom (Survival) checks then you may choose a different skill to gain proficiency in.
Bone Crafter
Starting at 3rd level, you gain the ability to craft armor out of the remains of your enemies during rests. For each rest spent creating the armor, you may make a Wisdom (Survival) check where the DC = enemy CR + 10. If you fail the skill check, no progress is made, and it takes 3 successful checks to create the armor.
- When creating this armor, it has an AC = the AC of the enemy's natural armor (excluding things like DEX modifier)
- When wearing this armor, your DM may allow you to gain a passive boost related to the enemy's abilities (ex: troll regeneration) but may adjust it so it remains balanced
- You may add your CON modifier to the AC of this armor while you are wearing it
- Your DM rules the type (light, medium, heavy) of armor it is
Morbid Fury
When you reach 3rd level, you gain 3 Bone Points. While raging, you may expend a Bone Point while crushing the bones of an enemy you have killed in the last round as a bonus action to gain one of the following perks. You regain 1d4-1 Bone Points during a short rest, or all of them on a long rest.
- Horrifying Presence. Until the end of your rage, you have advantage on all Charisma (Intimidation) checks. Additionally, when you hit a creature with a melee attack, you may use your bonus action to attempt to intimidate that creature. If you succeed, it becomes frightened of you until your rage ends.
- Grave Runner. Until the end of your rage, you have advantage on all Strength (Athletics) checks. Additionally, each time you kill an enemy on your turn, you gain 5 ft. of movement until the end of your rage.
- Skull Breaker. Until the end of your rage, you are able to score critical hits on an attack roll of 19 as well. Additionally, critical hits deal an extra 2d10 bludgeoning damage.
- Bone Crusher. Until the end of your rage, you have advantage on attacks made with weapons that deal bludgeoning damage.
- Flesh Ripper. Until the end of your rage, you have advantage on attacks made with weapons that deal slashing damage.
- Armor Piercer. Until the end of your rage, you have advantage on attacks made with weapons that deal piercing damage.
- Entity of Death. Until the end of your rage, if you would drop to 0 hit points, you drop to 1 hit point instead. This feature ends immediately upon use.
- Deathblows. Until the end of your rage, attacks you make on your turn deal an additional 1d4 necrotic damage.
- Overkill. Until the end of your rage, when you down an enemy you gain temporary hit points equal to however much damage past 0 hit points that the creature would have had, to a maximum of your barbarian level.
At 6th level, you have 4 Bone Points, at 10th level, you have 5 Bone Points, and at 14th level, you have 6 Bone Points.
Bone Mask
Starting at 6th level, when you kill an enemy, you may use an action to create a mask out of its skull. If you do so, while wearing the mask you have +5 on attack rolls against creatures of its subtype.
Bone Rager
Starting at 10th level, when you rage, you gain temporary hit points equal to half your armor class.
Necrotic Herald
Starting at 14th level, while you are wearing a mask made from the skull of an enemy, you deal damage equal to your proficiency modifier to creatures of that subtype who are within 10 ft. of you on each of their turns. Additionally, when a creature of that subtype is within 10 ft. of you, the eyes of your mask glow neon green and cast a bright light for 5 ft. and a dim light for an additional 5 ft.
