Barbarian
Base Class: Barbarian

Barbarians who follow the Path of the Pankrati mean to first and foremost use their body as a weapon. Honing their techniques to the abolute best with holds, chockes and joint locks, parred with the absolute physical prowess means to be an unstoppable force on the battlefield. A shield to their allies and utter despair for the enemy, as they lock down focus targets with brutal techniques.

Brutal Physique

Beginning at 3rd level, you are grasping the arts of holds and shoves. Enemies you successful shove or grapple take damage equal to your strength modifier.

Further, your speed is not reduced by grappling creatures the same size as you. Grappling a creature larger than yourself reduces your movement speed by 1/4th of it's normal value.

Hand to Hand Combat

Starting when you choose this path at 3rd level, you can roll a 1d4 in place of your normal unarmed strike damage. This die increases when you reach certain levels in this class - a d6 at 5th Level, a d8 at 11th Level, and a d10 at 17th Level.

Starting at 6th level, your unarmed strikes count as magical for the purpose of overcoming resistance and immunity to nonmagical attacks and damage

Up Close and Personal

At 6th Level, you learn techniques for combatting opponents in melee. While raging and grappling a target, you can use a Bonus Action to make an additional attack against the grappled target.

Further, when you receive the grappled condition, you can take a reaction to move up to your speed toward the source of the grapple. Once you do so, if you are within your reach of the target, you can attempt to grapple the target. This movement ignores the normal penalties of being grappled or restrained, however, this movement does not remove the grappled or restrained condition from you.

Perfect Muscle Growth

At 6th Level, your muscles have reached their apex, allowing you to pick up objects and creatures previously impossible for you. You now count as a size larger for the purposes of grappling, carrying and lifting.

Additionally, when taking the attack action on your turn, you can take a special action, Forceful Exchange. This free action allows you to make a single shove or grapple check. This special action may only be taken once per turn.
You may do this a number of times equal to your strength modifier, regaining all uses after a Long Rest.

Heavy Lifting

Starting at 10th Level, you gain proficiency with improvised weapons, and can treat grappled creatures as an improvised weapon. While raging, you can use objects or grappled creatures (that you can normally lift) as improvised weapons. If you use a creature you are grappling, treat the creature as a two-handed melee weapon with the heavy and two-handed properties, that deals 1d10 + Strength Modifier damage. This damage is taken by both the creature you are using as an improvised weapon, and the target of the attack.

If the creature you are wielding as an improvised weapon is unwilling to be used as an improvised weapon, make the attack roll with disadvantage, unless the grappled creature is prone. Large Objects follow the normal rules of improvised weapons. Objects or creatures that are affixed to a surface must be broken from the surface. This can be done with an athletics check, replacing one of your attacks.

At 14th Level, a creature wielded as a weapon deals 1d12 + Strength Modifier damage

Meatshield

At 14th Level, while grappling a creature of your size or larger, you gain half-cover against any attack that does not originate from a creature you are grappling. If an attack misses you, you can force the attacker to make a new attack roll against a creature you are grappling (unless a creature grappled by you made the attack). This feature can be used once per turn, and can be used a number of times equal to your Constitution Modifier, regaining all uses on a Long Rest.

You can also use an opportunity attack to attempt to grapple a target.
