The few monks that know this way awaken anti magic energies in the body with Ki. Way of the spell shield specializes in negating and reducing the effects of magic.

Spell Shield

At 3rd level as a bonus action, you gain the ability to shroud your body in a anti magic barrier made of Ki. For up to an hour you can maintain the barrier, absorbing (your level + wisdom) worth of magic damage. Costs 1 point of Ki.

If Revenge counter is active, any damage that spell shield takes also counts toward the total damage of Revenge Counter: Unarmed Strike.

Adaptive Energy

As a reaction, you may spend a point of Ki to add your Wisdom modifier to saving throws that were caused by spells or a magical effect.

Counter Jab

Beginning at 11th level, As a reaction you can make an unarmed strike against a target in melee range who is casting a spell. If the attack hits, you interrupt the spell from being cast.  costs 2 points of Ki.

Revenge Counter

At 17th level, as an action you can spend a point of Ki to embrace the flow of magic for a minute. During this minute, all magic damage that is dealt to you is absorbed and saved for a unarmed strike. you can spend another point of key to make a unarmed strike. If it hits, all damaged absorbed by you is dealt to the target. additionally, you may spend a third point of Ki to make your Revenge Counter: Unarmed Strike with advantage. Finally, all magic damage absorbed still does full damage to you and if you drop to 0 hit points the absorbed damage dissipates making the absorbed damage amount 0.
