Empathetic Ward
1st-level Love Domain feature
You have a deep connection to the emotions of others. You gain resistance to psychic damage and have immunity to the charmed condition. Additionally, you can use an action to sense the emotional state of one creature you can see within 30 feet of you to learn their primary emotion (anger, fear, sadness, etc.).
At 17th level, you gain immunity to Psychic Damage.
Channel Divinity: Divine Harmony
2nd-level Love Domain feature
Your connection to the fundamental forces of love and compassion grants you the ability to soothe troubled hearts and mend fractured spirits. You can use your Channel Divinity as an action to share the love, causing you and another willing creature to regain a spell slot. The combined total of the spell slots regained cannot exceed half your cleric level rounded down (maximum of a 9th-level spell slot total). Additionally, both you and the target gain temporary hit points equal to the level spell slot regained times your Wisdom Modifier (minimum of 1). If the target is not a spellcaster, they gain a bonus on Wisdom saving throws equal to your Wisdom modifier (minimum of 1) for the duration as their mind has been shielded from outside influence. Once you use this feature, you can't use it again until you finish a short or long rest.
Spell List
1st-level Love Domain feature
You gain domain spells at the cleric levels listed in the Love Domain Spells table. See the Divine Domain class feature for how domain spells work.
Sacred Union
6th-level Love Domain feature
You can perform a sacred ritual to unite two willing creatures in an unbreakable bond of love and protection, similar to the effects of the Ceremony spell. Once per long rest, you can cast Ceremony without expending a spell slot or gold cost. All effects of the ceremony spell when cast in this way fade after 24 hours, and a creature can benefit from the Wedding ceremony rite multiple times with the same partner, renewing their Wedding vows. Additionally, when Wedding two creatures using Ceremony in this way, you can choose one additional effect from the following list to imbue upon the bonded individuals:
- Union of Harmony: For 8 hours, the bonded creatures can use the Help action as a bonus action to help one another. Additionally, when the Help action is made to aid the bonded creature in attacking a creature, the target of that attack can be within 30 feet of you, rather than within 5 feet of you, if the target can see or hear you.
- Bond of Protection: For 8 hours, the bonded creatures divide between them any damage or healing received equally while they are within 30 feet of each other. Should the resulting damage or healing be odd, the original target takes the extra 1 damage or healing. If either of the bonded creatures becomes unconscious or dies while under the Bond of Protection, the effect ends.
- Eternal Devotion: For 8 hours, the bonded creatures can communicate telepathically with each other while they are on the same plane of existence.
Potent Spellcasting
8th-level Love Domain feature
You add your Wisdom modifier to the damage you deal with any cleric cantrip.
Eternal Embrace
17th-level Love Domain feature
At 17th level, you reach the pinnacle of your ability to channel the power of love and empathy. As an action, you can unleash a wave of transcendent emotion, affecting creatures within 120 feet of you for 1 minute. Choose one of the following effects:
- Empyreal Radiance: You emanate an aura of pure love and compassion. Up to a number of chosen creatures equal to your Wisdom modifier within the aura gain advantage on all saving throws and attack rolls, and they regain hit point equal to your Wisdom modifier at the start of their turns. Additionally, any non-chosen creature that starts its turn within the aura take Radiant damage equal to your cleric level, and must make a Wisdom saving throw. On a failed save, it becomes charmed by you until the end of its next turn. If this creature is immune to the charmed condition, it must immediately use its reaction, if available, to move as far as its speed allows toward you. The creature doesn't move into obviously dangerous ground, such as a fire or a pit. On a successful save, the target doesn't have to move toward you.
- Heartrending Melancholy: You release a surge of heartbreak and sorrow. Enemies within the aura must make a Wisdom saving throw. On a failed save, they are overcome with overwhelming sadness and become incapacitated for the duration of Eternal Embrace. They can repeat the saving throw at the end of each of their turns, ending the effect on a success. Creatures that are charmed or frightened have disadvantage on their saving throws against this effect. If a creature is immune to the incapacitated condition, it instead takes psychic damage equal to your cleric level at the start of each of its turns while within the aura.
Once you use this feature, you can't use it again until you finish a long rest.
