Barbarian
Base Class: Barbarian

Barbarians who walk the Path of the Fey often have a whimsical or eerie presence, embodying the unpredictable nature of the Feywild. They might have a deep connection to nature, a mischievous streak, or a mysterious aura that sets them apart from other barbarians. Their rage is not just a display of brute force but a dance with the magic of the Feywild, blending ferocity with enchantment.

Feywild Rage

Starting when you choose this path at 3rd level, You gain limited druid spells with wisdom as your spellcasting modifier and your rage is suffused with fey magic. While raging, you gain the following benefits:

  • Ethereal Resilience: You gain resistance to psychic damage and advantage on saving throws against being charmed or frightened.
  • Fey Transformation: Your appearance takes on fey characteristics such as glowing eyes, ethereal wings, or shifting skin tones. You can use a bonus action to teleport up to 30 feet to an unoccupied space you can see.

Wild Companion

At 6th level, you can call upon a fey creature to aid you in battle. You can cast the spell find familiar as a ritual, but when you do so, the familiar is a fey spirit and takes the form of a creature from the feywild, such as a sprite, pixie, or pseudodragon. The familiar's type is fey instead of its normal type.

Additionally, while your familiar is within 100 feet of you, it can deliver your melee attacks as if it were you, using its reaction.

Fey Magic

Starting at 10th level, the fey magic within you allows you to cast certain spells. You can cast misty step and dispel magic once without expending a spell slot. You regain the ability to do so when you finish a long rest.

Additionally your wild companion now has additional hit points equal to your constitution modifier and you can now cast spells through your wild companion.

Feywild Guardian

At 14th level, your connection to the Feywild has strengthened to the point where you can call upon its denizens to protect you. When you enter your rage, you can choose to summon a guardian spirit of the Feywild. The spirit appears as a shimmering, ethereal figure within 30 feet of you. The spirit has the following effects:

  • Guardian Aura: Allies within 30 feet of the guardian spirit have advantage on saving throws against spells and other magical effects.
  • Retaliation: When a creature within 30 feet of the guardian spirit hits you with an attack, the guardian can use its reaction to make a melee attack against that creature. The attack uses your rage damage bonus and deals radiant damage equal to your barbarian level.

The guardian spirit lasts for 1 minute or until your rage ends. Once you summon the guardian spirit, you can’t do so again until you finish a long rest.
