Base Class: Bard
Level 3: Macabre Melodies
- You learn the chill touch cantrip and one necromancy spell of your choice from any spell list. These do not count against the number of bard spells you know.
- When you cast a necromancy spell, you can use a Bardic Inspiration die to increase the spell’s damage or healing by the number rolled on the Bardic Inspiration die.
Level 3: Dance of the Dead
- As an action, you can perform a haunting melody that animates one corpse you can see within 30 feet of you. The corpse rises as a zombie and follows your commands for 1 hour, after which it collapses into inactivity. You can use this feature a number of times equal to your Charisma modifier (minimum of once), and you regain all expended uses when you finish a long rest.
Level 6: Eerie Performance
- You can use your performance to unsettle your enemies and bolster your allies. As an action, choose a number of creatures within 60 feet of you up to your Charisma modifier (minimum of one). Affected enemies must succeed on a Wisdom saving throw or be frightened of you until the end of your next turn. Affected allies gain temporary hit points equal to your Bardic Inspiration die roll.
Level 14: Dirge of the Departed
- You gain the ability to conduct a powerful ritual as a performance, calling forth the spirits of the dead. As an action, you can summon a ghostly ensemble that plays alongside you for 1 minute. For the duration, you and your allies within 30 feet of you gain advantage on saving throws against being frightened and resistance to necrotic damage. Once you use this feature, you can’t use it again until you finish a long rest.
Level 14: Master of Necromancy
- You can add any two necromancy spells from any spell list to your list of spells known. These spells do not count against the number of spells you can know.
