Scribe of Arcane Lore

Wizards who follow the Scribe of Arcane Lore tradition are masters of the written word, using their extensive knowledge and magical prowess to bring their writings to life. They are often found as authors of spellbooks, chroniclers of arcane secrets, or even as journalists covering the most dangerous dungeons.

Arcane Scribe

• You gain proficiency in the Calligrapher's Supplies.
• You can transcribe spells into your spellbook in half the usual time and gold cost.

Words of Power

When you cast a spell that deals damage or requires a saving throw, you can use your reaction to expend one of your Wizard spell slots to add its level to the damage dealt or increase the save DC by the spell slot's level.

Living Lore

As an action, you can animate a written story from your spellbook. This story becomes a spectral creature under your control. It uses your stats and initiative, and this creature follows your commands and lasts for 1 hour or until it drops to 0 hit points.

Master Scrivener

You can create a magical scroll of any spell in your spellbook as if you had the spell prepared. The process takes 1 hour per level of the spell and costs materials worth half the usual cost.

Tome of Endless Pages

Your spellbook is now an endless tome that can hold an infinite number of spells. Additionally, once per long rest, you can cast any spell from your spellbook without expending a spell slot.
