Base Class: Bard
The College of the Stage embodies mastery in musical performance, valuing showmanship and flare above all else. Bards of this college are masters of sonic power, drawing inspiration from the raw energy of music that echoes through Eldinora. Whether wielding instruments or their own voices, these bards command the stage with electrifying performances and magical melodies.
Stage Presence
When you join the College of the Stage at 3rd level, you become a master of engaging physical performance. You have advantage on Charisma (Performance) checks you make to distract other creatures.
Additionally, whenever you must make a Strength (Athletics) or Dexterity (Acrobatics) check, you can choose to make a Charisma (Performance) check instead, as long as you’re not incapacitated and your speed isn’t zero. You can use this feature a number of times equal to your Charisma score, restoring its uses upon taking a long rest.
Resonant Frequency
Also beginning at 3rd level, when you successfully cast a concentration spell that targets one or more enemies, such as faerie fire, you can emit a repeating booming frequency that deals additional damage one of the targets. At the start of each of your turns, until the spell ends, you can automatically deal thunder damage to one of the targets of your concentration spell. This damage equals one of your bardic inspiration dice.
Rhythmic Compulsion
Starting at 6th level, you can influence nearby creatures to break into brazen dance. As an action, you can force each creature in a 20-foot cube, originating from you, to make a Wisdom saving throw against your spell save DC. On a failure, a creature begins to dance. Creatures that can't be charmed are immune to this effect. A dancing creature must use all its movement to dance without leaving its space and cannot take reactions until the end of your next turn.
Once you use this feature, you cannot use it again until you have completed a long rest.
The Ol' Razzle Dazzle
Starting at 14th level, creatures within close proximity are distracted by your panache. When you cast a bard spell that requires a saving throw at a creature within 5 feet of you, that creature has disadvantage on the saving throw.
