Bard
Base Class: Bard

College of Dance bards still use the musical instruments that are foci of other bards, but use them not always for song, but to create the beat for a dance which spurs on the greatest parts of their magic. Dance bards use their Bardic Inspiration to dance, weaving in and out with footfalls like feathers, call a spiritual urge to move within allies, and moving a spirit to dance onto their enemies if their dance should ever take pause.

Graceful Dance of Birds

At 3rd level, you learn how to inspire allies and get yourself out of harm's way in tandem. When you expend a use of your Bardic Inspiration you gain the effect of the Disengage action and your speed increases by 10 feet for the duration of your turn. This speed increases to 20 feet at level 6, and to 30 feet at level 14.

Hunting Dance of Wolves

At 6th level, the dance you create gives magical guidance to your allies, allowing them to step swiftly and get to your goal with powerful confidence. When you take the Dash action, any allies of your choice can use their reaction to move up to their speed to where you end your movement.

Calming Dance of Flames

At 6th level, you harness your dance to be both powerful and calming at the same time. When you use your Song of Rest feature, all creatures who regain hit points by expending Hit Die also gain temporary hit points equal to half your Bard level.

Vengeful Dance of Lions

At 14th level your dance holds a magic within that punishes those who would ever try to interrupt it. When you fall to 0 hit points but don't die, your body twists as you fall unconscious, cursing the creature that ended your performance. You cast Otto's Irresistible Dance without expending a spell slot on the creature that dropped you to 0 hit points if it's within range or the nearest hostile creature within range. You do not need to maintain concentration on this casting of the spell, even if you regain at least 1 hit point. This feature can be used a number of times equal to half your Charisma modifier, rounded up (minimum of 1 time). These uses reset at the end of a long rest.
