Base Class: Fighter
Boogie Woogie Features
Fighters who adopt the Boogie Woogie archetype master a unique martial art that allows them to instantly swap places with allies, enemies, or objects, creating dynamic and unpredictable combat situations
Rapid Repositioning
Starting at 3rd level, you can use your bonus action to magically swap places with a willing creature or an object of your size or smaller within 30 feet of you that you can see. You can use this feature a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus, and you regain all expended uses when you finish a long rest.
Additionally, when you take the Attack action, you can choose to swap places with a creature within 30 feet of you before making an attack. You can do this a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus per long rest.
Disorienting Strike
At 7th level, you can use your Boogie Woogie technique to confuse and disorient your enemies. When you hit a creature with a melee weapon attack, you can force the creature to make a Wisdom saving throw (DC equal to 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Strength or Dexterity modifier, your choice). On a failed save, the creature is stunned until the end of your next turn.
Once you use this feature, you can’t use it again until you finish a short or long rest.
Tactical Mastery
Starting at 10th level, you have become a master of tactical repositioning. When you use your Rapid Repositioning feature, you can also choose one of the following effects:
- Distract: The target has disadvantage on its next attack roll.
- Protect: The target gains a bonus to AC equal to your proficiency bonus until the start of your next turn.
- Assist: The target has advantage on the next attack roll it makes before the end of its next turn.
Advanced Boogie Woogie
At 15th level, your Boogie Woogie technique becomes even more versatile. You can now swap places with an unwilling creature within 30 feet of you. The creature must make a Charisma saving throw (DC equal to 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Strength or Dexterity modifier, your choice). On a failed save, you swap places with the creature. You can use this feature a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus, and you regain all expended uses when you finish a long rest.
Additionally, when you swap places with a creature, you can choose to make one melee weapon attack against that creature as part of the same bonus action or reaction.
Perfect Coordination
Starting at 18th level, your ability to coordinate with allies and control the battlefield is unmatched. When you use your Rapid Repositioning feature, you can now swap places with any number of willing creatures or objects within 30 feet of you. Additionally, when you use your Advanced Boogie Woogie feature, you can target up to two unwilling creatures.
You also gain an additional reaction that you can use only to activate your Rapid Repositioning feature.
