Base Class: Ranger
Calling on the power of fallen heroes, you can channel your divine strength to protect those who would die in combat, rescuing them and letting them grow under Valhalla's guidance. Rangers who follow in the footsteps of the Valkyrie draw their power and inspiration from the legendary Valkyries of Norse mythology. These fierce warriors serve as the harbingers of fate, guiding the souls of fallen heroes to the afterlife and intervening in battles to sway the tide in favour of the righteous. Imbued with celestial energy and martial prowess, these rangers embody both the merciless might and protective nature of the Valkyries. Valkyrie Rangers often adopt a demeanour that reflects the dual nature of the Valkyries: fierce and merciless in battle, yet protective and guiding towards their allies and those they deem worthy. They may feel a deep connection to the spirits of fallen warriors and might undertake quests to honour them or avenge their deaths. Their presence on the battlefield is both inspiring and terrifying, as they navigate the thin line between life and death with the grace of a celestial warrior.
