Base Class: Barbarian
The ferocious warriors who walk the Path of the Bloodrager draw their fury and primal might from pain. These blood-soaked warriors thrive in the midst of battle, devastating their foes with a complete disregard for themselves as they suffer wound after wound without seizing their onslaught. Embracing pain as a welcome ally, they use it as a tool to harden their bodies, minds, and spirits, as they walk the thin line between life and death on the regular.
Blood Rage
Beginning when you choose this path at 3rd level, each wound you suffer makes you stronger, as pain fuels your ferocious might. While raging, you gain the following additional benefits:
- For every quarter of your hit point maximum that you are missing, you gain a +1 bonus to attack rolls and damage rolls made with melee weapons.
- When you hit a creature with a melee attack, you can expend a number of your barbarian Hit Dice up to your proficiency bonus and roll them. The attack then deals extra necrotic damage equal to the result. Moreover, you take the same amount of necrotic damage, which cannot be prevented or reduced in any way.
Fervent Tenacity
At 6th level, even in the bloodiest of battles, you can push yourself forward. As a bonus action, you can choose to gain a number of temporary hit points equal to your barbarian level. Any remaining temporary hit points disappear after 1 minute.
You can use this feature a number of times equal to your Constitution modifier per long rest.
Agonizing Clarity
At 10th level, pain and suffering brings you both clarity and focus. While raging, you gain the following additional benefits:
- For every quarter of your hit point maximum that you are missing, you gain a +1 bonus to all saving throws you make.
- You are immune to being charmed or frightened.
Mortal Rush
At 14th level, your fury only burns brighter as you approach death. When you would be reduced to 0 hit points by a creature you can see within 30 feet of you, you can use your reaction to negate the damage, immediately move up to your movement speed towards the creature, and make a single melee attack against it. If the attack hits, it is considered a critical hit.
You can use this feature once per short- or long rest.
