Black Cat

The void hisses through the night as shadows stroll empty streets. Picking their way through alleys and homes, the shadows stop to admire a black cat on a rooftop. They pay their respects with silver and gold, before the cat liquidates into the night and the shadows disappear.

9 Eyes

3rd Level. The shadow watches as a mile away a rat scurries into its teeming burrow.

+60ft of Darkvision through non-magical darkness and magical darkness that you have created.

 

Cat Tongues

3rd Level. Mews, snarls and hisses echo alleyways as shadows and spirits dance to the beat of the moon.

The Black Cat has access to limited Spells represented as Tools. 

A Levelled Spell, presented as a Tool, will have 2 Tool Uses per Tool. A Cantrip, presented as a Tool, will have 3 Tool Uses per Tool.

Tools do not require material components and all Tool Uses are regained only after a Long Rest.

 

Thaumaturgy

3rd Level. Cast Thaumaturgy. 3 Tool Use.

Jump

3rd Level. Cast Jump at 1st Level. 2 Tool Uses.

Spider Climb

3rd Level. Cast Spider Climb at 2nd Level. 2 Tool Uses.

Light

6th Level. Cast Light. 3 Tool Uses.

Darkness

6th Level. Cast Darkness at 2nd Level. 2 Tool Uses.

Minor illusion

10th Level. Cast Minor Illusion. 3 Tool Uses.

Blink

10th Level. Cast Blink at 3rd Level. 2 Tool Uses.

 

In The Shadow Lies The Cat

9th Level. Shadows fell over raised hackles, a hiss before it was thin air.

You gain advantage on all melee attacks made against lonely targets.

Targets must be submerged in total darkness, being heavily obscured and at least 10 ft away from any allied creature.

It does not matter if the target can see you or if they are aware of you.

Also if you are falling on top of any target, you can make a melee attack and expend all of one Tool's uses to deal an extra 3d6 magic damage.

The Tool that is expended must have all of its Tool Uses. Every Tool Use is consumed using this ability.

 

The Omens That Follow

13th level. The fiercest predators strike from the shadows. The deadliest kill from them.

After a successful Sneak Attack you can make 1 Extra Action that cannot have advantage. This can be another Attack, Tool, a Cunning Action or a Bonus Action.

 

Shadow Cat

17th Level. The shadow forgoes it's cover and speed, exposing itself as the omen it truly is. A Black Cat.

Consume every available Tool Use at once, +3 Total Damage per Tool Use consumed to your next Sneak Attack, for a maximum of +51 extra Damage.

This can be done after Damage is rolled but before the DM determines the result.

All Tool Uses are now regained after a Short Rest.
