Base Class: Bard
College of Colors bards, can use their paintbrush along with a set of magical inks to cast spells, inspire allies and warp the world into their own masterpiece. These bards can modify them and their ally's equipment, spell and weapons to adapt to many different situations.
Bonus Proficiencies
Upon becoming a bard of colors, you gain proficiency with painters supplies and forgery kits. If already proficient with either you may become double proficient or replace with a different proficiency with DM's discretion. The painter's supplies are now the arcane focus for the bardic spells.
Marvelous Colored Ink
At 3rd level, once per day the player can create up to their class level in various colored inks. Each ink can have no more then 2 of the same color, and can hold no more then their class level in total ink.
Inks can be used to modify spells, weapons or features, but upon doing so the ink is consumed.
Upon a short rest, the player may expend 1 bardic dice to replenish that many ink up to the max amount of ink they can hold.

Painted Equipment
The player takes up to 5 minutes painting over a weapon or piece of equipment granting it bonuses.
Weapons painted by the player take on the damage type of the of the color of ink used. This does not change the secondary or any bonus damage types done by the weapon. The effect lasts until painted over by another color of ink or 8 hours.
Armor and equipment painted by the player gains resistance to the damage type of the ink used. The effect lasts until painted over by another color ink or 8 hours. If the armor or equipment is critically hit by a melee weapon, the ink is scraped off an loses it's resistance.
Painted Spells
At 3rd Level you may use your inks to modify you and your ally's spells. Modified spells add one bardic dice worth of damage to a spell, and must have a matching damage type if applicable. You can only use one ink per spell cast. When modifying your own spells you can freely add you ink. You may use your reaction to modify an allies spell you can see being cast within 30ft of you.
Advanced Pigments
At 6th level, you unlock the ability to create inks of different colors that allow for more damage types and modifications to spells. These follow the same rules as other inks.

Potent Paints
At Level 14 you gain improved inks improving upon the effects.
Weapons gain bonus damage equal to your bardic dice based of the inks damage type.
Armor and equipment no get immunity based on the inks damage type.
Bonuses granted to spells are doubled based on the type of ink.
Mixed Mediums
At 14th level, you can use up to two different types of ink on spells cast by you or a ally. You no longer have to use your reaction to modify ally spells, but can only do it once per round.
